We begin with a complimentary French breakfast in the neighborhood Saint-Germain-des-Prés at the café Les Deux Magots, where influential writers such as James Baldwin and Richard Wright spent much of their time. We'll explore many historical sites in and around the 5th and 6th arrondissements as we make our way over to the neighborhood of Pigalle. There we'll discover why the neighborhood at one point earned the nickname "Black Montmartre". But no Black Paris tour would be complete without visiting the historical neighborhood, Chateau Rouge aka Little Africa, with its many shops and businesses.

You’ll receive an Unlimited Metro Pass that we’ll utilize to get to locations not within walking distance. The tour will then conclude with an amazing meal together at one of the best African restaurants in the city where we can share our favorite things about the day (Meal Not Included In Price).

I'm big on going on tours. I've been on tours all over the world and what makes a GREAT tour is a GREAT STORYTELLER. Knight is indeed one of those rare storytellers that's passionate about his subject matter and paints Paris through a lens that you want get anywhere else. I live in Paris and learned things about my own neighborhood that I had no idea about. Overall, it's a really warm and nourishing experience and a great way to see a lot of the city of light in one day!

This tour was everythingggg! We started off with breakfast which was super cute and yummy, then the adventure began. Knight was the most amazing tour guide with plenty of insight and knowledge to share. He adjusted to my pace, was super patient and answered all my questions, he also shared plenty of gems which I will cherish forever. I've been to Paris a few times before, but after this tour, I will never look at it the same way and I love that for me. I learnt so much and had a blast! I left feeling more fulfilled, proud, blessed, and mindful than when I came in and for that, I am eternally grateful! Ten out of ten!
