Staying in Venice gave my friends and I a chance to see the Dolomites that otherwise probably not happen in the course of our travels.
It was a trip with the long day of travel. Our guide and driver did an excellent job of introducing us to another part of Italy very different from southern Italy.
I highly recommend this trip to all who want to see what else Italy has to offer. Corvina the site of the Winter Olympics in 2026, one of the cities visited on this tour.

Stefani and Ralph were great hosts, very knowledgeable about the history, economy and fun facts of the areas we passed.
We came on a clear blue sky day in winter, the lakes were frozen and we had to make some last minute changes for lunch breaks. Ride was comfortable, both were amazing drivers navigating the twisting roads with ease. We briefly stopped at each site for pictures and seemed to squeeze in quite a lot in a day. I think it would have been nice to visit less and explore more of the areas we did stop at, to make the trip more memorable.
The trip seemed a bit expensive for what it was, we paid AUD$700+ for a day trip stopping for some pictures. It's certainly not easy to drive the mountain pass and Stefani was an amazing driver, just hope they see most of that amount and viator doesn't take too much of a cut.

Great experience! Our tour guide was so sweet and knowledgeable about the locations. If you want to see a different side of Italy I would definitely recommend this tour. It’s a full day of seeing amazing locations, just breathtaking!

Stefania knows the area like the back of her hand and will take you to all of the best view points on the way to lake Braies. It didn’t feel rushed and was very informative, lots of interesting facts and stories throughout the journey.
Definitely worth the long trip to take in scenery like now where else.

Truly a beautiful day. The perfect getaway day from Venice, especially in the winter where there were less crowds and more scenic views!
The lakes were breathtaking, and getting to ride around the Dolomites was cozy and enjoyable with the right amount of hiking and food mixed in.

A must for nature lovers! Our trip to the Dolomites was amazing. Small group of 8 of us in a very comfortable travel van. Our tour guide, Stephania, gave us wonderful information throughout our whole trip. She gave us plenty of stops to take pictures and take in the beauty all around us. This tour would be accessible for almost all levels as there is very little walking needed. The van could pull up very close to everywhere we went. While there were opportunities to do more hiking/walking in some areas, the tour would not be diminished if someone couldn’t walk very far. A brief stop in Cortina d’Ampezzo was a gorgeous town and definitely made us want to come back and stay just there! Next stop was Tre Cime di Lavaredo to get a picture of the Dolomiti from far away, then up to the breathtaking Lago di Braies where we were given time to hike around the lake and get some lunch. The food here is ok, nothing amazing, but good. You can rent a boat to paddle around on the lake, or just hike the path around it. The lake itself is just stunning and worth the trip alone. From there we headed up the Dolomiti to Forcella Lavaredo to look down over the surrounding areas and to look out over Misurina. Then finally a stop in Misurina before making the trek back home. All the beauty and fresh air had most of our van napping on the way home! A wonderful fulfilling day with a kind, knowledgeable, and funny tour guide made this such an incredible day. We highly recommend this tour and can’t wait to come back to the area to stay in some of the new places we’ve discovered on this tour!

Not only is the landscape gorgeous and breathtaking, but Stephania is a fantastic historian and guide. She hits the right mix of being informative and humorous. The route she took us on was fantastic and we saw more than I expected. Lake Braies is amazing and I'm so glad we went. Also, administratively, we had a last minute change from 4 people to 2 and she accommodated the change with promptness and professionalism. Could not have been better!
