Visit Te Puia home of the famous Pohutu Geyser. The largest geyser in the southern hemisphere. Your guide will take you on a tour of the natural bush, geysers and mud pools with a remarkable walk along the Te Whakarewarewa geyser terrace.

Nicolena was great tour guide and very accommodating to someone with a mobility issue.
Visit to Māori village for the ceremony was very informative as was the tour of the crafts training school. We loved the geyser! (And mud pools). Even the Kiwis came out to see us (yes, the elusive birds) Nicholas even showed us some highlights of Rotorua, the city.

Had an amazing experience with this company. Rotorua Geothermal wonderland tour was great choice. Nicolle was a kind and knowledgeable tour guide driving us safely around so many places, explaining the history with interesting detail. If I'm ever back in this area I would book again. Thanks for a great day Nicolle.

Communication by Wicked Wanders Tours was lacking. The tour van was overcrowded. The actual tour of the Geothermal geysers & mud baths along with the Mauri cultural song, dance & school tour was excellent making the long drive worthwhile. I would go again but with a different tour operator.

The whole experience was very well put together. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and approachable. The native experience was very well done and the geysers obliged us with a very well timed eruption.

The trip could have been nice and interesting. However, we were unlucky with the other members of the group. Everyone was going in a different direction and the driver/guide was busy running after/looking for someone most of the time. We have never experienced anything like this in a small group before.

Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient picking us up at the cruise ship port then taking us to Rotorua with some stops along the way for beautiful vistas and to see a kiwi farm. The Māori cultural center is not to be missed along with the geysers, mud pools, and the kiwis (both live and on the vine!)

We lucked out and got the owner of the company, Russell (some of his summer workers had just returned to school after [Kiwi] summer break). Very knowledgable and responsible in terms of keeping our group of nine together and on time. Really appreciated all the stops on the way back from Rotorua: redwoods, the lake, kiwi vineyards and beach. Also appreciated the fact that he was in touch by email pre-tour and we knew exactly when and where to go to meet him (off of our cruise ship). He was the only one of our four tours to have a sign board with our name. Russell has been in the hospitality field for 30 years, and it shows. This is a professionally run operation
