Small Groups, 6 person max and expert crew set our excursion apart. During this tour we can visit either the northern manta site near the Kona airport, or venture further south to Keauhou depending on where the best manta sightings have been. Our expert captains and dedicated guides are pulling out all the stops to make sure you get the best viewing possible.
Prior swimming & snorkeling experience is required to book this activity. Guest's must be able to independently climb up a side boat ladder. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Not recommended for pregnant women. Contact tour operator for exceptions.

This was our 2nd manta ray spice. The first was done by the Sheraton, it was a very good experience, saw about 8 rays. Last night we had a fun 20 minute ride to a site by the airport, our captain, John, was awesome, and we must have seen at least 15-20 rats. John said he’s never seen it like that. It was beyond awesome!!!!!! This will always be a must do when on the Big Island.

Our trip was canceled due to high winds. They contacted us and offered to reschedule or refund our money. Unfortunately we had to accept the refund as we did not have the time available to reschedule.

The mantas came right up to us. They were huge! Captain Dylan and Eli were experts and kept us safe and informed. This should be on everyone’s to do list. In fact my daughter is coming back to do it! And we loved the small intimate group setting

Eli and Dylan provided an amazing experience. While snorkeling, Eli shared so much information about the manta rays and was able to identify them by name! The beautiful, gentle giants came right up to us. We were amazed at how close they got! I loved that it was a small group and we did not have to wait at all to get our wetsuits and hop in the boat. All in all, a wonderful experience and would 10/10 recommend!

So amazing! We chose this tour for the small group size. Captain John and his crew kept us informed before the tour, even giving us photo-guided directions. The shorty wet suits provided were clean and new-feeling. The actual snorkel part of the tour was indescribable! So many manta rays. While you are legally not allowed to touch them, they have no boundaries and definitely touched us. It was awesome to see up to 11 ft wingspan creatures doing barrel rolls to feed, bumping into one another for prime spots. Wow! What an experience.

Close encounter doesn’t even capture how amazing this experience was. Fully surrounded and immersed by these majestic mantas. The were barrel rolling the entire time and since the group was so small, we didn’t even have to wait for others, take turns or anything. We got in, had our own space and at least 11 mantas to ourselves.
This family run business was professional, communicative, and a great value.

The tour was amazing! The captain was informative and gave us all the info we needed to have a lovely experience. We saw amazing manta rays, fish, and were just delighted with the entire experience. Would definitely recommend!

Just the coolest thing I believe I have ever done. This company is the one to use. There were just five of us versus twenty or so in the other groups. The odd part is that we paid $15 or $20 less than they did. Much more of an intimate experience. The rays were incredible. At one point there were 15 or 20 around us
