George was amazing! He told us about the history of the island and showed us the best spots to get great photos. We saw everything we wanted to see and had the most delicious lunch by the sea. I will definitely ask for George when I come back to explore more of Santorini!

We were so looking forward to this, but didn't get to see most of the things I wanted to. Our driver picked us up at 3pm at our hotel in Imeroviglia, and we discussed that we wanted to see the Akrotiri site, Kamari beach, and then be in Oia for sunset. He agreed, and recommended that we also visit the monastery, and the red beach, and he would recommend a restaurant for dinner in Oia. It sounded to us like a great way to spend 6 hours!
Our first stop was the Monastery, which was very interesting to see - and the 360' views from the top were spectacular! I was extremely interested in the archeological site, and had been looking forward to it for days. But when we got back into the car at the monastery, our guide told us we couldn't go to the museum because it had closed. I was so disappointed! And confused about why that hadn't come up when we were making our plan.
From there we went to the red beach, which we sort of hiked around a hill to look at and then were hustled back to the car before we got close to the water. Then we stopped at the lighthouse on the southern point of the island, which was an interesting vantage point opposite where we were staying.
Our guide dropped us off in Pyrgos and told us to wander around for 15-20 minutes, and he would meet us when we got back. It didn't seem weird because it was a pedestrian area - but after we explored on our own, we waited for about ten more minutes for him to come back, while he was filling the car with gas. Then we went to Megalochori, another pedestrian zone, and he dropped us off to explore on our own. After about ten minutes, we realized that it was getting late enough that we needed to head back towards Oia if we were going to catch the sunset, so we texted him to come back. We had to wait for about 20 minutes for him(apparently he had gone to get something to eat), then we zoomed around the island chasing the sun, and got out in Imeroviglia to take some photos after the sun had already set.
We did make it to Oia, but it was dark, so we didn't really get to see Santorini from that side of the island, or get to take in the iconic blue domes. But the restaurant he recommended was delicious, and I would like to go back to Oia someday.

Published highlights include: Visit Skaros Rock and Megalochori Village, and Monastery of the Prophet Elias, Swim at Perivolos black sand beach, and opt to visit Venetsanos Winery, Akrotiri Archaeological Site and Parissa black sand beach, and Sunset in Oia.
The only of those that we visited were Megalochori and the Monastery, and we didn't really get to experience anything else we were planning to see. If I had known we would be so limited by this private tour, I would have ventured to the archaeological site on my own in the morning! Unfortunately our ferry left at 8am the next day, so that was my only chance to see it, and I thought we had planned the visit. For what we experienced, this was incredibly expensive, and I would not recommend it.

We had a most memorable trip in Santorini. Our day started with meeting or amazing driver. Fotios Tsevas he explained exactly what our day would be like. He took the time and patience to make sure we got all the best photographs and we got to see all the highlights of Santorini. I think it was so special because he loves what he does. The two outstanding things I will not forget is the sunset stop he took us to. ,also the incredible dinner that we had at a local restaurant.

The tour was just ok. Some of that was not John’s, the guide’s, fault, as it was very cloudy and he couldn’t show us everything he planned to show. He was also kind of dry with no real sense of humor. That could have been cultural, not sure. The black sand beach was not worth seeing. But the rest of the tour was good, and would have been great if the clouds were not there.

This was my fifth time in Santorini, but the first time for my friends. What an unforgettable experience. George was a fantastic tour guide. Not only did he take us to places that I wanted my friends to see, but even took us to places that I've never seen either. He is personable and knowledgeable, and took care of us like we were the most important people in Santorini. If I could, I'd give him 6 stars. If you are looking for just the right tour of Santorini, this is the one you want to choose. Ask for George!!

The only way to see Santorini is with a private guide. We were blessed to have Fotios as our guide. He shared his knowledge of the island with enthusiasm! Fotios was sensitive and kind to our individual needs. Fotios is an eleven out of ten! It was a perfect day. The day was seamless!

George our driver was exceptional, he took us to the most beautiful spots in Santorini for pictures. Very knowledgeable of the area. Recommended foods to order at a winery for the most exquisite Greek culinary experience. He made the trip very special for the 4 of us.
