Couldn't have asked for a better 6 days. Top driver, top travelling companions.
Did so much in such a short time but some of the highlights are, snow, waterfalls, ice caves, whales, snow, troll caves, breathtaking vista's, volcanos, hot pools, more snow, a home cooked farm house roast lamb & of course the stunning NORTHERN LIGHTS.
You should be aware that all food in Iceland is expensive, so we would have rated a definite 5? except for the fact that some of the hotels we stayed at were quite remote (a bonus for light hunters) but they tended to take advantage of this when pricing the dinner menu. $4000 Kronos ($45 AU) for a hamburger & fries is a bit over the top even for typical Icelandic pricing. & if you still reading & a couple planing to do this tour. Don't expect a cuddle as all beds were single.

I have had an amazing time in the tour! Our guide Gunnar was very helpful and always sharing his knowledge on the different regions of Iceland. Got to catch the Northern Lights post the solar storms.

What an unbelievable experience this trip was. Had lots of scenic views, perfect accommodations, got to see the northern lights plus a great environment and a very knowledgeable guide. Definitely book this tour, totally worth it!!

Iceland is a must visit for nature lovers . Breathtaking views which often changes every few hours along this road trip. This review is for how well planned this tour has been. We toured with Dadi aka David , our driver cum guide. At first he came across as strict and cold, however we quickly got to know him. Over the 6 days Dadi attended to us tirelessly and passionately told us stories about the places, culture and icelandic folklores. He prioritized our safety in his driving and ensured evryone was comfortable. The length of the stops were just right, never over rushing us. He took good decisions to avoid certain location due to bad weather , while suggested alternative sights not part of the standard itinerary. On the last day he took us to a surprise activity (not gonna spoil it for you) . We are glad to have chosen this tour to see Iceland and lucky enough to have a great guide. Final tip: Do the Bath!

My friends and I planned this trip for a landmark birthday, and were absolutely delighted with our tour with Arctic Adventures. Hjalti was our guide and did a wonderful job of explaining the history and context of the many varied locations we visited. We were particularly fortunate with the weather during our trip and Hjalti really made great use of it by using every minute of the dwindling November daylight each day. We enjoyed the varied itinerary and accommodations. We would highly recommend this tour and Hjalti!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Our guide Throstur was so knowledgeable, organized, patient and great sense of humor. Without the tour and him we would have not done it all and understood so much about this amazing place. Hotels? Well, a couple were basic but clean, the others were very good. Would 100% go on another AA tour. Thank you

From start to finish Vjeran looked after us all day long, with extra stops along the way making sure he squeezed in everything that was humanly possible in each day. Always had well timed rest/bathroom/snack breaks along the way and as multiple people told us we got so lucky with the weather as well, so everything fell in to place perfectly. Vjeran is a wealth of knowledge and delivered with a sense of humor keeping us all entertained for the entire trip. You can't go wrong with him as your guide.

You KNOW you had a great tour when you miss your tour guide before you are even gone ?! Vjeran is knowledgeable, energetic, and an all around awesome person. Our 6 days was jammed pack. He made sure we saw as much of his beautiful country as we could. I loved learning about the geology, everyday life, and the lore of the island. He took me to school but made it fun and interesting. He is a people person and makes sure even the quietest person feel included. If you have a large group visiting, try to request him. You will not regret it! (You will need a vacation from your vacation, though!) ?

This was a wonderful experience! I've been to Reykjavik several times, but this was the first time that I did the ring road around the Island. Such a breathtaking Island, it has to be scene, and this, to me, is the best way to do it.

This tour was amazing. Vjeran was the best guide, he was extremely knowledgeable and gave us lots of history and folklore about all of the places we visited. He was highly entertaining and it felt as if we were a big happy family. He was always willing to be photographer for everyone. The scenery was gorgeous and definitely a bucket list trip. He also made lots of extra stops to show us more of Iceland than was on the itinerary. You could tell he loves what he does and it just makes for a great experience.
