We booked directed on their website (tourguideushuaia) about 4 months in advance for this tour at $115 each for shared 5.5 hour hiking tour. We actually only ended up with 6 people on our tour total plus the guide (Gaby) and a driver in a small van. This was a WONDERFUL tour and Gaby was a great guide giving you some interesting overview and answering questions. He did not continuously talk just because there was a microphone, and let us enjoy the beautiful scenery. We got a great viewpoint of the city and then spent most our visit time in the Park (admission included) doing a series of small tourist class hikes (tennis shoes are fine as long as it isn't raining or muddy) that won't wear anyone out as long as you are doing regular physical activity of some sort. I would say our total hike distance was probably around 3-4 miles, none particularly steep and all over nicely groomed trails. Gaby did a great job of taking us on routes or timing our trails so we saw very little of the other tour groups and tourists in port.
Overall, this was EXACTLY what they advertised plus a few nice little minor additions. I should also note that the organizer (Edgar) is great and very responsive to questions in less than 24 hours. Highly Recommended.

My husband and I went on this outing with one other couple from our cruise ship. It was a beautiful day and the hiking was pretty easy. We went through some beautiful forests and along lakes at an unhurried pace. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke English well. We stopped at the park lodge for a bite to eat and got some empanadas that were nothing to write home about, so choose something else if you go there.
There were many other people taking similar tours, traveling in large buses and not hiking. Many of them were from the ships in port and our cruise ship was charging considerably more money for similar outings. So if you're taking a cruise and this activity sounds interesting, book it here rather than through the cruise company. You'll have a better experience for less money.

Thoroughly enjoyable tour through beautiful countryside with a very good guide. Views are stunning, most of the walk was easy walking conditions with some rough terrain over tree roots and some large steps. The guide judged the pace very well for all of the party. He was very informative with excellent spoken english and was able to answer all questions even one or two difficult political questions that were answered sensitively and without offence to anyone. The Park is beautiful and well worth the time and expense to see. Pick up was very easy we were met as per instructions just outside the port gates. PCV was comfortable and well driven. I would recommend this tour.

Our tour guide was excellent. We travelled to all of the same places as the large bus tours but he timed everything so we missed the huge crowds. What a beautiful hike, national forest and tour!

Enjoyed the tour. The hiking was a little more strenuous than we thought it would be but it was some beautiful scenery.

We spent a great day when our cruise ship visited Ushuaia. We were picked up just outside the port gate in a nice and roomy van and headed out to the National Park. We went on three short hikes and were treated to some spectacular scenery. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the various trees and plants and we learned a lot. Highly recommend!!
