Thank you so much to Angus and Queenstown wine trail, we had the most enjoyable tour with our friends group to celebrate a milestone birthday, and Angus made it such a special day for all of us. We visited three beautiful vineyards on our tour, and one place had done a cake for us as a surprise, thank you for arranging that. Our first stop was a Kinross Winery where we did a wonderful tasting, with a very informative host there, and then we enjoyed a delicious lunch, not one single dish was disappointing. We then went to the Cave winery and really enjoyed the history given and the pinots form Gibston Valley. Our last stop was at Mount Rosa, were we tasted several more beautiful wines, and also a little mulled wine, which was lovely given the day was cooling off a little. We were also dropped back in time to town after the tour to our accommodation. Thank you Angus you made our special day just that much better, and we loved the sing along on the way home.

We had the best day! Our guide T was a legend and put up with all of our nonsense. Would highly recommend this to anyone, such a great way to spend a few hours. The tour company was really amazing to deal with and they were flexible and went the extra mile for us. I feel that it is great value for money - we had our own van, our guide looked after us super well, we had a delicious lunch, sampled some amazing wines, got to see some beautiful places and they even dropped us in Queenstown afterwards. We felt like royalty all day! Thanks so much guys.

Excellent tour. Our guide “T” (Teaukura?) was great, knowledgeable and funny. We sampled a lot of good quality wine from local wineries and met awesome people from around the world. Lunch was delicious too.

Our guide Te was engaging and informative. There were about 15 in the group so we had the opportunity to meet like minded people from all over the world. The quality of the wines varied in the 3 places we visited, but of course everyone's taste is different. Our lunch was delicious with many options to chose from. Now that I think of it, we really didn't "sample" any food on the tour except for some cheese cubes in a small store. I think the title of the tour is misleading, however we had such a good time and a very filling meal that we didn't miss the food sampling.

Pick up was smooth and only a few metres from hotel. Guide/driver was knowledgeable and familiar with the wines we were tasting. First stop was Ayrburn wines - new visitor centre with excellent restaurant where we had a very good lunch. Two sparkling wines, then a Sauvignon and a Riesling, then on to the pinot via an interesting pinot noir rose! Three good pinot noirs ending with one from Gibbston. Then a proper glass of your favourite from the first tasting with lunch! Excellent value. Lunch took rather a long time so we were then a bit rushed at Mt Rosa - a Pinot Gris, a Sauvignon and another rose - new for me to see Pinot noir being used for a rather different style of rose. Then two Pinot noirs. Then on again to Gibbston - only arriving 30 mins before closing, so not enough time to properly taste. Another four wines! Would have scored full marks if timing was more proportionate - but a great selection of 17 wines! I’d like to do it again as a whole day trip.
