Our first muliday tour with Rabbie's was an excellent experience. Hard to overstate the interesting highland scenery. Our guide Catty did a superb job of providing commentary through out the trip. This tour visits many locations, all of which were interesting. The overnight locations, Oban and Plockton, of two nights each, were good with Oban being the larger town that has multiple dining options. Plockton was much smaller and dinner reservations were needed. The 16 pax van was comfortable and the stops were frequent enough to take care on any needs. We certainly recommend this tour.

The 5 day Iona, Mull and Skye tour was amazing. Our guide Catty was knowledgeable, friendly and had an amazing base of historical and folklore stories to share.
The tour fit in all the highlights of Iona, Mull and Skye. With one of the major highlights being the boat trip to Staffa and visiting Fingals Cave and the Puffins.
The only draw back was that the weather was unseasonably warm and none of the accommodations have air conditioning or fans, which made sleep difficult.
Overall I would highly recommend Rabbies and the Iona, Mull and Skye tour.
I would also highly recommend Catty as your guide!

My sister and I took the Rabbies 5-day tour to Iona, Mull and Skye, with Grant as our driver guide, in the beginning of October 2022.
This was our third Rabbies trip: the smaller more friendly groups in mini-buses that reach less accessible spots, the more flexible itineraries to suit the interests and activity levels of the group in the bus, and the interest shown in communities and local businesses draw us back to Rabbies over other companies.
Special thanks however go to Grant for his engaging storytelling, his skill in brining the group together, his efforts to ensure our expectations for the tour were met (if not exceeded!), and his love for Scotland which coloured every anecdote and which helped make this trip unforgettable.

Great Tour with a great guide. Paul showed us his beloved Mull where we got to taste fresh oysters. He also pre-booked a couple of restaurants in Plockton as there were only two and we arrived early evening. When on Skye he took us to one end of the Island to the other and was information, funny and played great music which suited the tour.

This tour exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Alan, was a walking encyclopedia of information, and we appreciated his knowledge, stories, and music. Alan came up with a flexible agenda for our day on Skye as most things were closed due to the holiday for the Queen's funeral.

The entire trip exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Andy, was excellent and together with his historical knowledge and folklore tails he made it a very interesting and memorable trip

We just completed our tour and we're happy with the places we visited and our accommodations. If you stay at the Hill View B&B in Plockton, be sure to ask for the porridge for breakfast. Our guide/driver Paul was great. When on Skye he took us from one end of the isle to the other and was always in good spirits. It was a fun trip and would highly recommend it.

I just got back from this tour a few days ago and have not stopped thinking about it, I wish I could go back!! Our tour guide was Dom who was so nice and clearly knew everything there was to know about the culture, fairytales, geology and history of the areas we explored. I was traveling solo on this trip (which I very rarely do), but was warmly welcomed by everyone. The small size of the tour was ideal and by the end we were all sad to part ways. I really could not have envisioned a better week, even though it started with cold wind and rain, it ended in sunshine. The b&bs Rabbies booked were very comfortable and owned by really sweet locals (they also serve you huge, homey breakfasts in the morning which is great).
*If you are wondering whether to book this tour (or another with Rabbies), do it!! I will be recommending this to everyone in the future*

We really enjoyed our 5 day tour - it was very well planned out and we got to see so many things. We had amazing weather for late October and got to watch the beautiful scenery from the big bus windows. This is not the type of tour where you'll get guided inside tours of castles or palaces - this focused on seeing the landscapes from the bus as well as frequent picture stops. Rabbies also had some unique stops that were different than the typical tours, which we loved.
For accommodations, we booked them ourselves through AirBnB (even Plockton!). We were a family of 3 adults and they said they couldn't guarantee that we would be staying together, but I think we would have been fine since it was low season.
Highly recommend this tour if you're looking for the basics to be planned out, but still want the flexibility of choosing lodging and food options (for a variety of price ranges).

I was quite hesitant of going on tours and being herded here and there but this was great :) The small group was a just the right amount of number to meet people and interact with them. Gill was amaaazing! Such a deal breaker for the trip. She's IMMENSELY knowledgeable covering geography, history, geology, music -- you name it! She even gives commentaries each time she plays local music -- like having a dj onboard haha, truly fun -- all while driving! haha. Amazing. I don't know where she gets her energy. She was super accommodating, highly positive in energy and spirits, deeply passionate. One of the best guides I've met -- an overall package.
Con would be traveling on a fixed period of time under a very variable weather -- we couldn't go on the boat to Iona and Staffa which were primarily why I chose this particular tour in the first place so that was a bummer :(
Overall, I recommend :)
