5 Day Garden Route Tour and Addo Elephant National Park

We actually took the 5-day Garden Route tour with BokBus in December 2022. Sorry for the delayed review, due to ill health last year. It was a wonderful trip and one of the highlights of our tour was our guide and driver, Benjamin. He was a great driver, very knowledgeable about the route and all the sights he took us to. Very friendly and caring, especially the last day when I had a fall and he did everything he could to take care of me. Thanks Benjamin! The views along this route are incredible. We absolutely loved the penguin colony, Addo Elephant Park and the two game drives at the Garden Route Lodge, which were amazing. Accommodations were good to very good, and the Garden Route Lodge in particular was spectacular. The food was excellent in every place we stayed at. I highly recommend this tour and this tour company!

The tour guide was great! We went during Christmas and we did the tour backwards. We had a really great time and tour guide ‘Mawande’ was great and very flexibel.

We would not recommend to do the 5 day trip. 3 is enough. The last two days we spend almost the whole day in the bus. That was too much. At day 4 it was 5 hours and on day 5 we spend 6 hours on the bus. We think you can skip Jeffrey's bay. It is just a beach and we had dinner at a hostel. Cool if you are 25 years old, but not for us.

So we are enthusiastic about the first 3 days. The safari was great! And we slept in very pretty lodges.

I had the most incredible time on the 5-day tour. Our guide was wonderful, met some incredible people and had memorable experiences. I would recommend this to anyone looking to explore around the southern coast of South Africa, without the stress of navigating everything by yourself. A very comfortable and fun trip, thank you to everyone (especially our guide Benjamin) who made my experience incredible.

I recently had an incredible experience with BokBus Tours on their 5-Day Garden Route Tour to Addo National Elephant Park. Awesome tour along the garden route in combination with Addo. Saw a lot of animals, had a lot of fun and took many pictures. All this with the best guide, Dylan Curtis. He even arranged we could do skydiving although it was not planned which I am never going to forget in my life! Amazing trip and I really recommend doing this trip

We had a wonderful tour. We have seen so many things, the most beautiful sceneries on the road. Our guide Dylan did such an amazing job! He arranged all those activities for us. The highlights were Addo park with a lot of animals and the Bloukrans Bungy jump! We also did a skydiving at Jeffreys Bay. The garden route game lodge is also a wonderful place to stay. This tour was really worth it. I would do it again! Dylan was the best guide ever ?

I had the time of my life. It was unbelievable and I enjoyed every single day. I want to say a big thank you to Dylan Curtis he was amazing. You could really see that he loves his profession. Besides being well organized he is a great guy with great humor. Best guide I could have wished !

Even though the trip started early in the morning after a long flight, getting up paid off with the first beautiful sunrise near Stony Point Nature Reserve, where we could already see the first penguins.
A bit abbreviated, it went on like this during the whole trip, beautiful views and good comments from Mawande about the country and its people, as well as good tips to have the best stay as a tourist.
Special highlights for me were the ostrich farm tour, where we learned a lot about the amazing birds, the two drives in the Garden Route Game Reserve and also all the restaurant secret tips we visited and enjoyed local cuisine.

Thank you BokBus Tours and thank you Mawande, you made our holiday here unforgettable!

We booked a 5 day safari along the Garden Route. Our guide Mawande, was very friendly and eager to explain a lot on the tour. Thanks to him, we ate in local cuisine, visited the most beautiful viewpoints and enjoyed detailed explanations about the townships, political background and circumstances in South Africa. The group consisted of 5 people, which was perfect for traveling in the bus. Highly recommended to take a relaxed vacation without having to worry about anything.

The trip was the most amazing thing that I ever experienced! The landscapes, the guesthouses, the activities were amazing! And our guide, Mawande, was the best!! He made sure that we were comfortable, shared a lot of knowledge about Africa and made us feel at home! I would recommend this tour to anyone!!!
