I loved the variety. The highlight was the Botlierskop Reserve game drive by 4×4 with a professional guide, and we also enjoyed visiting an ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn, caving at Cango Caves, hiking inTsitsikanna Forest, kayaking, driving through Addo National Park - all if the above except the game drive was included in the price. Our experienced guide Mr Nev was enthusiastic (and a good driver!), answering all my questions about the local culture and history.
It's rather pricey, as you need to pay for lunch and dinner, but as a solo traveller it's a safe and convenient way to see some major sights and enjoy lots of activities. The backpacker accommodation is a good option for solo travellers.

The trip was amazing. Our tour guide, Neville, is very knowledgeable & super helpful & kind at any times. The trip itself: be prepared to pay a lot extra for activities. The game drive at Addo is provided within a normal bus (no open roof). So, better try to sit at the front - otherwise pictures are hard to take. The acco we booked was the "better" option. On the trip we noticed actually the low cost accommodations where better, if you wanna enjoy company and a little more fun locations. The more expensive ones are nice, but - especially food- is not nessecarily better sadly. But: all in all the tour fulfills wht it promises. And the best part is the local tour guide who knows and explains a LOT about the history and facts about the country etc.

We were luck enough to have Moudahi as our guide and he definitely made the trip as good as it was, funny, informative and always went the extra mile to make sure we were all okay and having the best time, as i was travelling on my own this was something I was worried about. He helped break the ice between the whole group which was very mixed and made sure everyone was always included. It felt like we were travelling with a celebrity as everywhere we got to visit and stay the service providers all knew and loved him as much as we did! I opted for the saver package ( hostels with a private room) and by far think i got the best deal, the locations and facilities of these accommodations were second to none and in my view nicer than the upgrade to the guesthouses and b&b option. The tour is fast paced with early mornings but with the things you get to see its 100% worth it!

The 5 days on the garden route was awesome! Our guide, Neville/Siyabulela was super friendly and informative, sharing facts and answering questions about all parts of the garden route. He was also very flexible with time, allowing us to make the most out of each activity. With so much driving on the garden route, I think having a good guide is key to a good experience and Neville certainly offered that!

We had a perfect tour with a lot of great adventures! Every day was full of different activities. Our tour guide TK did a great job planing everything for us so we didn’t have to worry about anything. He made the experience even more pleasurable- thank you!

Had a great time with TK as our tour operator. The tour was amazing! We were able to do so many activities, and TK knew a lot about the region and was willing to help us with any question or quiery we might have.
The only reason why I give this tour a 4/5 stars is because I had to be relocated at night (the tour agency made a mistake by booking a room for the wrong date). Besides that, the 4 star stay on the 5th night was very far away from the backpackers hostel. The kitchen was already closed when we arrived.
Besides that the tour was amazing! Thanks a lot for such a great experience!

Thanks TK!! Highly recommend this tour - Garden Route & Addo Elephant park and much more. Over 5 days, we covered so, so much ground with loads of activities. TK looked after us all very well and gave us great insight on the places, culture etc. As a Xhosa man, we appreciated it even more so from his local perspective. We were also very fortunate with our group, big range of ages but all like minded . Very well organised, & great accm with meticulous timing. ?

Our tour was great and our tour guide TK made it even better. He was super patient with everything and everyone. He took care of everything. We made a lot of amazing things like safaris, bungee jumping and canoeing. There was also enough time for great photos and delicious food.
