The 40 minute Great Barrier Reef Flight is the perfect way to see and gain a full appreciation of the immensity of the Great Barrier Reef.

The best time to fly is between 09:30 a.m. and 02:30 p.m. to see the wonderful colours of the Great Barrier Reef. The flight is adequate to gain a feel for the size and structure of the Great Barrier Reef, the 40 minute flight adds that little bit more for those wanting to snap those extra few pics to their portfolio.

• Flights will be cancelled if weather conditions are such that we are unable to provide our service as advertised.

• Infant under 2 year-old sit on laps free of charge - body weight requested
• Passengers must advise actual weights in lbs or kilos at time of filling out the booking request. The Take Off Weights of Australian Air-craft are STRICTLY POLICED by Government Departments on a regular basis.It is an offence under Australian Law to fly Aircraft / Helicopters over their legal Take Off Weight. You will be weighed at the Terminal prior to boarding. If you weight is 5 kilos / 11lbs or more over and above the weight you have provided at time of booking Daintree Air reserve the right to deny access to the flight and no refund will be provided. Daintree Air will endeavor to accommodate all passengers to the best of their ability. Maximum passengers weights accepted with out special individual planning and organisation is 115 kilos / 253 lbs.Daintree Air are under no obligation to up grade to larger planes .

The views were amazing from above as we could see several reefs and cays that we were not able to visit. The staff at the reception were so nice and attentive to our needs. Our pilot Thomas was also so lovely and informative, the trip to Daintree Air Service was really great!!

A Must-Do in Cairns! Took my family that was visiting from overseas for the adventure! Great staff in the office, fantastic views & explanations of the reef! Pilot Thomas was amazing!

Today we had an amazing flight over the reef with Jessie.I Found this company on line last night after being let down by another company Nautilus Aviation which we had booked a helicopter ride with but was cancelled with less than 24hrs notice. I called this company this morning Daintree air services and they couldn’t be more accommodating and we even had our own plane so we could see this amazing reef. Thank you to the whole team for making our 25th wedding anniversary so special ????? Alan &Carol (UK)
