4 Nights Cruise Luxor to Aswan Including Air Balloon, Abu Simbel&Nubian Village

1 .-the Boat: the cruise was very good, the food was also very good and the crew service very pleasant always left us surprises in the room

2.- Our guide: we were lucky that our guide was Aladin, he speaks Spanish very well, all the time he was aware of us, very punctual and very friendly, he always advised and guided us to have a healthy coexistence with the local people. We definitely recommend him and we will contact him again when we return. He is the one who made us fall in love with Egypt. He has made the trip easier for us in all aspects. I leave a picture with Aladin… our guide.

3.- Balloon ride: we do not recommend it, the balloon company arrived late for us, the views are not as expected, and many people go up in the basket that it is not possible to move in the assigned space, or see or take photos.

4.- Abu Simbel: the last excursion the company tour changed our guide and we were joined with other groups. This guide was not as expected, a good point is he had an image book to explain what you would visit in the temple because they can't enter, only that he didn't connect with any of the groups, he always had a hurry which caused discomfort in everyone, which even one of the group scolded him.
We had high expectations of the temple, it is very nice, but the guide they assigned us for this activity was not the best, our experience could have been much better.

My trip to Egypt was awesome, I truly enjoyed my vocation. So many things to do and see, culture excursions, food and lots of history. I definitely recommend taking a trip to Egypt.
Ismail our tour guide was the best he took time to explain the deals of our trips, he was kind, patient and knowledgeable.

Honestly this trip easily ranks as the top trip in my life. That’s a big statement I know… but if you are looking for a vacation that stimulates all of your senses this would be it. It touched everything for me and then some.

Visually there’s a lot to see. The food was amazing. The excursions make you feel like an explorer where you end up learning new things - which stimulates folks that love learning. We traveled by small boat, horse and carriage, rode camels, & even had a sunrise hot air balloon ride. We travelled to village, marveled at street markets with amazing produce, & visited various artisans and craftsmen.

Our guide Ismail H., was extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history. His command of the facts brought the tombs alive & made you want to see more and more.

There’s so much to learn that you absolutely need to have a guide that is enthusiastic about teaching. His temperament is akin to a father figure pouring into a child. He also made sure all of our needs were met and went above & beyond to make sure we were comfortable plus even kept us abreast of the vultures tactics.

Outside of that, the boat staff was very friendly and they work extremely hard to make you comfortable while on the boat. I remember everyone from the room attendant to the chef and spoke to everyone along the way.

In fact everyone was friendly that I spoke to along the way. The people are different here compared to anywhere I’ve been before.

I have images and memories that will last a lifetime.

I have recommended this trip to friends looking for something way above the basic trips people tend to take.

So yea, 5 stars.

Favorite part of the trip was the hot air balloon. We were able to get great photos and videos. The nubian village was interesting, very comforting to see Africans. They were very welcoming and accommodating. The cruise was smooth, food was good, many options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this cruise. Our tour guide, Ismael, was great. He is very knowledgeable and funny. He made the trip exciting. Anything we asked of him, he was able to deliver. We stopped for essences and spices in Aswan and Alabaster in Luxor. He was patient with us.

Ahmed and Mohammed were fantastic guides that made sure to cater to the needs of our big group of 30+ people. The hot air balloon ride was definitely the highlight of our trip, and we were even able to visit some extra attractions in the West Bank of Luxor. Both tour guides were very easy to communicate with!

Ghada Kamel was my tour guide, she's very knowledgeable about Egyptian history, she's an Egyptologist! The cruise was magnificent with excellent food! The air balloon tour was the highlight of your for me since I never did it before but it was relaxing and incredible with a very smooth landing, the captain did a great job!

This trip was close to perfect. Booking proces was easy. Pickup at airport was well arranged. Immediately after arriving everything felt good. Amazing visits to all major temples led by our guide Ahmmed elsayed, with his funny english Egyptian style he explained everything very clear.
