Fantastic experience all around. Staff was wonderful, food delicious and a big bonus was watching a mama and baby whale breach in front of our boat. Turtle town ended up with rough waters but the staff made up for it with complimentary drinks. I would highly recommend this tour.

An amazing time snorkeling the beautiful waters of Maui! Joe and Lucia were both incredibly helpful and informative, especially for people with limited experience snorkeling. The experience dual tracked as a whale watching expedition as well which was a nice bonus! Highly recommended!

Doing the 4 hour snorkel tour to Molokini and Turtle Town with Makena Coast Charters, led by Captain Joe and Captain Brandon, was the highlight of our two weeks on Maui. We snorkeled almost every day at various locations around the Kihei and Kanapali areas, but this trip blew us away.
The knowledge and hospitality of our hosts made it an unforgettable experience, and they even went out of the way on our return from Molokini to take us to a whale siting! Brand new calf with mama helping stay near the surface. First time seeing humpback whales in real life. Mama was as big as our 40foot boat!
Having Kyle from Kyle's photos on the trip to help capture our day was awesome, he made a point of connecting with everyone while in the water, and we got some great family pictures that will be treasured.

What an amazing experience! Joe, Lucia and Kyle were the best anyone could ask for! When we had bad weather on the first date I scheduled, they refunded us and I rebooked for the next day which was perfect weather and much calmer water. I was SUPER nervous about getting in the water, but they encouraged me gently and were so helpful making me feel comfortable. The floatation belt and noodles helped me feel comfortable after I felt less nervous I was able to take those off.
Joe is funny, knowledgeable and patient and Lucia is so skilled, pleasant and knows her job that you can’t find a better team!
I loved every minute and we even saw some whales! The much smaller group of 18 was perfect for me so there weren’t too many to manage and we had a lot of space to swim in.
Totally worth every penny!!!

Joe, Lucia, and Lynette were awesome. It was a smaller boat (capacity -around 19) though our group was smaller. The crew was excited and very knowledgeable. It felt new and authentic, not a routine “job”. We got watch a mom and baby whale while taking advantage of the ideal weather conditions. Highly recommend!

Early start rewarded by smoother seas, lots of turtles and great viz at Molokini. Smaller size group was nice to get views without crowds. The crew were helpful and enthusiastic. The surprise of drinks and nibbles an added extra and appreciated. Great to see the rare Monk seal on our trip. Would recommend highly - and I am not a morning person!

I booked this trip as the groups were small and want disappointed.
The crew were friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure we missed the crowd's but not sealife. The monk seal sighting was a surprise for us all.
If love to do it again with my marine life loving son in the future. Thank you
