Large sturdy boat, excellent crew, awesome music and views. Great snorkeling at Captain Cook. Nice lunch provided. Masks even come with extra vision power if needed. Family friendly trip, no alcohol, that was appreciated.

Awsome, captain Simon has a fantastic personality and sense of humor! He was so cute with my kiddo jumping off the boat, letting him drive for a minute, fun playlist of music! Aiden was your know-it-all with lots of information about whales while we were on our way to Captain Cook. We saw a momma and baby and a school of dolphins weaving through the waves. It was a great day! Never ending snacks and drinks and great sandwiches made by K… I forgot her name, but she was really sweet. I would have done all our tours with them if I would have known how great they were!

Wonderful snorkeling and amazing crew we loved Aiden and Simon as our captains. Super informative great funny energy. Solid lunch and snacks. Had the opportunity to see dolphins, whales, and of course the beautiful coral and fish. Definitely worth the money.

The crew - Jacob, Aidan and Kiami was fantastic. Energetic, very helpful and careful with the people on the boat. We saw Dolphins as soon as we got on the open water and Jacob gave enough time for all to see them playing. The snorkeling instructions were clear, they opened up a spot for 8 ft jump into the water and Aidan kept everyone entertained. There are snacks when you get on board plus drinks and then sandwiches - everything from Costco. Nothing fancy but it did the job. Options for everyone - would recommend

Absolutely incredible boat ride, sights and snorkeling! Boat captains were incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and we even got to see whales on the way back to shore! I wish I had booked all of my adventures with this company; it was so informative and fun!
Best value for the money on our trip!

It was such an amazing experience. We felt safe inspite of being first time snorkelling in the open ocean. The crew was very friendly and helpful. We saw a baby Hammerhead shark on our way to the bay, lots of colorful fishes , turtles during snorkelling, 2 different pods of Hawaiian spinner Dolphins very close by to the bay. On our way back we also spotted a Humpback Whale. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and it is very much worth it.

We had an incredible time with Simon, Adan and Kiami on the Captain Cook snorkel tour. They were professional, fun and informative. We saw whales on the way to the snorkel spot and the snorkeling was incredible. After snorkeling we jumped off the boat and used a slide to shoot into the water. Lunch was great and the ride back was beautiful along the coast. Music was pumping and everyone had a great time! Would book again with Hang Loose Tours in a second! We are actually trying to book a Manta Ray tour with them for tomorrow. Great job Hang Loose and thanks Simon! Great Captain!!

My son and I took a trip to Captain Cook/Kealakekua Bay on a Tuesday am. What an amazing team that greeted us! Captain Simon, Aidan and Kiwami(sp?). So helpful and impressive! The trip was absolutely amazing! The boat was clean and well taken care of, the way to Captain Cook we saw whales and dolphins. Aidan educated us with history and facts about the water and people. The music and instruction was clear. The food was perfect for this tour. We had snacks and drinks upon arriving and sandwiches and pineapple and drinks for lunch. When we got to Captain Cook they instructed us on how to go into the water and where we can snorkel. They offered foam noodles to everyone if we wanted to use them. The ocean animals were colorful and plentiful! The set up the slide and opened a gate on top of boat to jump off of. So much fun! When riding back to our put in point, we were brought to lava tubes and where the amazing manta ray's are located. We even saw a manta ray while viewing the area. I would go back to this tour group again and again. I will tell my family and friends, this is the tour/s to take! Thank you Capt Simon, Aidan and Kiwami! - Colorado family

Staff was amazing! The snorkeling and the fish are only half the fun. The vocal cords and the platform diving of the captain are worth the price of admission in and of itself.
