Aurora Camp is located on a hilltop near Murphy Dome, one of the best Northern Lights viewing areas near Fairbanks and a favorite spot for many Aurora photographers. During this tour, you'll sit in a cozy, warm Alaskan-style cabin and watch the Northern Lights. The cabin has six huge windows facing the north, with a view of over 180°. You can watch Lady Aurora dance in the sky while sitting in the cabin and holding a cup of hot chocolate.

This is a pretty nice setup where they picked us up from our hotel and took us to a remote cabin which was spacious, warm and had snacks. When the auroras started dancing they let us know and there was ample room for everyone to spread out outside and take pictures and they also took pictures for us with their better cameras and sent them to us. Good remote location!

We were told our guide would pick us up at our hotel when we purchased the package. We emphasized transportation was required and were assured it was included. Just hours after charging our credit card Viator emailed us stating transportation would not be provided. When a refund was requested they refused and were completely unprofessional. We were hung up on and never received responses via email or phone.

If the clouds would have stayed away, it would have been perfection. David did everything he could to find the best time to take our photos with what we could see of the Northern Lights in the background. The indoor bathroom, Wi-fi, snacks and ontime shuttle were greatly appreciated, too.

Great spot to watch the Aurora weather pending as it changes so drastically. We were able to see some , but definitely great spot. Our tour guide David is very knowledgeable and helped us set the cellphone camera properly in order to capture great views

We had a great time and saw the northern lights on a snowy night! The host Joy was very accommodating and super helpful. David is awesome and was able to spot the northern lights even on the snowy night we were there. He helped everyone took great pictures! Highly recommended!!!

David was great. He's very accommodating of our needs. He was punctual and really helpful. We had lots of snacks while waiting for the Aurora to show up. We got to taste the reindeer sausage, it was yummy!

This viewing experience was the highlight of our trip. Joy and David are incredibly kind and accommodating. The viewing site is the perfect setting to view the aurora borealis. Indoor plumbing, hot drinks, ample snacks are all provided. The cabin is heated. It’s nice to be able to come inside and warmup and then easily go back out to catch the light show. David takes tons of pictures of everyone. Joy is very personable and circulates among all the viewers to make sure they are comfortable and having a positive experience. I would use them again if we return and I highly recommend this option for viewing the Northern lights!
