Amazing !!! The boat wonderful and room with perfect window and balcony for best view!! But the best of all Ahmet and his friends that got us to Nubian village! The kindness and the beauty of these people it’s unforgettable!!!

Overall, our experience was satisfactory. The facilities on the boat (MS Royal Viking) was good (the boat looked better than a lot of the other boats we saw), wide variety of food options (buffet) and all the stops/tours were coordinated well.
The reason for not giving 5 stars is that we experienced some issues:
1. In general, we found that there was not enough time to explore the sites on our own after the explanation by the guide. Often we would only get 10-15 minutes, which is way too short to enjoy the sites and take pics. Especially the Abu Simbel visit was disappointing because of that. We spent 6 hours driving from and to Aswan and barely spent 1 hour onsite (effectively giving us 10 minutes to explore each of the two temples on our own).
2. Often sites were very crowded. While this is not something the tour is directly responsible for, it seemed to us that all cruise boats were doing the exact same itinerary, causing everyone to visit the same sites at the same time. Varying/staggering visits between boats would probably give a better experience.
3. Communication with staff on the boat was complicated. People at the reception often did not understand us well (lack of English skills), leading to misunderstandings. On a few occasions the guide did not know that our family was coming on the tour (once they had even left already and had to come back for us). Also on the last day, with the hot air balloon trip, we had asked the night before if we should check out in the morning or if we could wait until after we came back from the tour that day. They had told us that we could check out in the afternoon after the tour, but when we came down the next morning (at 3:50am) they told us that we were supposed to check out of the rooms now, and we had to go back and pack everything rushed, causing stress and a delay with the departure of our tour. On a more positive note, the staff at the buffet and cleaning staff were excellent, no problems there.
4. Quality of the guides varied (we had a different guide on each location). Sometimes English was not great, and sometimes they were rushing or appeared less knowledgeable. In some occasions we would have been better off exploring on our own and reading the information signs on the site. Positive exception was the guide in Luxor (Heba), she was great!
Overall, we believe this is a good budget option to explore the sites around Aswan and Luxor, but if you really want to enjoy and explore the different sites, it might be better to arrange a private tour and avoid the cruise boats. This obviously comes at a different price tag so it really depends on your budget.

Cruise was great everything described was on point. All tours were incredible and tour guides are very knowledgeable and on time. The best was luxor tour with Nagwan as the tour guide she is incredible at what she does friendly, knowledgeable and caring most definitely an asset to your company. The tour covered all points of interest the lunch is incredible and let's not forget the driver patient and always friendly ready to transport us to the next stop. We will for sure spread the word around the world to choose your company when they visit Luxor. Thanks a million.
