4 Day Tour through Wild Tasmania

I was a solo traveller on this trip along with others that were travelling as a couple or solo as well.

From rainforests to mountains to beaches, and the animals, the tour covered all the beauty of Tasmania, and everything I wanted to see/do. I was originally thinking of planning the entire trip myself, but I am very glad I chose to do the tour given that I only had 1 week in Tasmania.

With tours, I find that the tour guide and the other travellers make it or break it since you’re spending all waking hours together. Trent was an exceptional guide and everyone in the group was great.

There’s a max limit of 13 people in the tour which was amazing - everything was always on time and small enough to get to know everyone.

I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to experience all the highlights of Tasmania!

We have just completed the 4 day Wild Tasmania Tour run by Trent.
It was a fabulous experience and very professionally run.
Trent had extensive knowledge of local landmarks, history, flora and fauna.
The highlight amongst the many fabulous walks was Dove Lake at Cradle Mountain.
Being a small group tour allowed a personally catered service to multi national clients and opt in or out options.
I would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see a lot of Tassie in a short period.

My Mum and I just completed the 4 day wild Tasmania tour with Trent and it honestly was the BEST trip of our life.

The itinerary was just perfect and the scenery amazing. In just a few days we visited Craddle Mountain, the Bay of Fire, Freycinet National Park and many other wonderful places along the way. We saw waterfalls, rainforests, magnificent gigantic trees, rock formations, lakes and wildlife such as wombats, platypus, wallabies, echidnas, tasmanian devils just to name a few.

Trent is the best guide we have ever had. He really went above and beyond to provide an EXCEPTIONAL experience and share his knowledge about nature and Tasmania with us.

We will forever cherrish the memories we made during this trip. Thank you Trent for being an AMAZING person, tour guide and for creating the perfect Wild Tasmania tour.

Amazing views, I tool a lot of photos!
Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by tour guider Trent Cowan , he picked me up at my hostel which was a fanatic start!
Trent is a very knowledge men and answered all of questions from our group, for that he deserves a special thanks.
The scenery was breathtaking, the nature was stunning , of course very cute animals which you can explore all the way from beginning of the trip.
Great local restaurants that you can have great seafood and wine, also, the food options are very Felix able.
The accommodation was very comfortable, especially the balcony with the ocean views.
Many thanks again and i recommended Trent Cowan to everyone!

Excellent 4-day whole-island tour of Tasmania. Great hiking options (tailored), great animal experiences (e.g., devils, wombats, wallabies, echidnas, PLATYPUS, kangaroos). Breathtaking views. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Excellent guide with great knowledge of the island, sense of humor, and gift for storytelling. Highly professional operator: no last minute surprises or cancellations (i.e., an issue with some local competitors). Standout operator. Book with Wild Tasmania.

The Best Multi-Day Tour Ever!!!

Last week I went on a fantastic 4 Day Tour of Tasmania with Wild Tasmania Tours, one of the best holiday travel decisions I've ever made.

Trent is a brilliant Tour Leader, and who made this tour extra special for me. He is extremely knowledgeable on a variety of topics, whether it be native birds and wildlife, plants and flowers, or the local history of each town or place visited on this 4 day Tasmania tour. His ability to find an elusive platypus for us to see in a creek in a small town was an impressive highlight! Trent is also happy to take questions, and I can't think of many that he couldn't answer on the spot, such is his wealth of expert knowledge.

Trent has designed an excellent itinerary for this 4 Day Tour, and you see so many varied and beautiful landscapes. The day after my tour finished, an Uber driver was amazed at how much of Tasmania I had seen in just 4 days! You really do pack in an incredible amount!

Accommodation options and Walk / Hiking lengths are fleixible. Trent laid out the options and then consulted with us on what individual tour goers would like to do, at every stage of the tour. The different walks and hikes each day of the tour, in such diverse and spectacular surroundings, were a personal highlight for me, and this "feast for the eyes" will live long in the memory.

The small tour group size is another appeal of Wild Tasmania Tours, as it made for a much more personal and "special" experience.

If it is your first visit to Tasmania, as it was for me, then you just have to book yourself on a multi-day tour with Wild Tasmania Tours! I've been on a number of day and multi-day tours over the years, and Wild Tasmania Tours is Simply The Best! Thank you so much Trent, you're a Legend! If I could give your tour 6 stars I would ha ha!

An amazing experience! Wild Tasmania lives up to the name. Our four-day tour with owner/ operator Trent was full of stunning hikes and views that showed off the natural beauty of Tasmania to its best advantage.

Trent’s knowledge enabled us to see unique and unforgettable animals and plants. We spotted platypus (lucky!), echidna, wallabies, pandemelons penguins, wombats, and many birds in the wild as well as seeing Tasmanian Devils in a sanctuary.

The walks were superb; I ran out of superlatives. The two big hikes we did at Cradle Mountain and Freycinet National Parks were world-class. The many shorter beautiful waterfall and beach walks were excellent also. There were always several trail options available to accommodate each person’s energy level, from low-key to big challenges.

The itinerary was thoughtfully planned with good accommodation even at the shared/ budget level. We got up and out early every day and felt like we had these beautiful places to ourselves. Options for cooking in or eating out were available each night as well as recommendations for each town we stayed in.

I would highly recommend Wild Tasmania tours if you want to see a wide variety of Tasmanian natural beauty in a small group. It was excellent value for money and a once-in-a-lifetime experience thanks to Trent’s expertise and experience.

p.s. For the best view of the penguins at night in Bicheno, bring a red-light torch or headlamp or get some red plastic to tape over your phone light.

I booked this tour as a solo traveller, and it was great! Aside from visiting national parks in Tassie, I was also able to do a lots walking and learn about the locals.
We spotted so many wild animals along the way. My favorite part is seeing wombat in Cradle Mountain and the walking track is so stunning.
I truly enjoyed the 4 days tour with Trent! He is very kind and knowledgeable! He is also very thoughtful, and are willing to go beyond! Definitely recommended!!

Trent our guide was ethical, knowledgeable and very friendly (plus he has a trained eye to spot wildlife including platypus).

This tour was excellent and I feel like I've seen so much of Tasmania and learnt so much despite having just a few days on the island to experience it.

I would highly recommend this tour. Tasmania is stunning, larger than I thought so having a tour like this where all the logistics are taken care of is a big bonus!
