Hugo is an excellent tourist guide. In few hours that my husband and I had in Osaka, I can tell he showed us a lot and explained details of Japanese culture, architecture and way of thinking of Japanese, details that other guides have not explained to us while our journey in Japan, thereafter we learnt a lot.
Also he is very kind and funny, so we had a great time with him.
In other words, I strongly recommend Hugo to be your guide, you will learn a lot and have a great time with him.

The guide was very courteous and knowledgeable. Despite the weather he was able to show us the most important sites. He recomended a french restaurant which was excellent.

Hugo was a superb guide! Our group was a mix of fit young people and slower seniors but Hugo managed to keep us moving along. We enjoyed our trip to Osaka Castle and the Dotonbori district with a side trip through alleys to see streets representing old Osaka and a beautiful shrine. Hugo is knowledgeable and made our half day in Osaka one we will always remember!

It was really good to have a personal guide for our tour
We are first time visitors to Japan and the personal touch and engagement with Hugo made the tour very enjoyable
We learned of the history of the castle and took some memorable photos’
As first timers to Japan and not speaking the language Hugo made us feel very comfortable.
As a bonus was we learned how to buy an IC card, load funds and use the subway system in Osaka
I have watched lots of YouTube videos to prepare us for Japan and nothing beats the personal touch

We enjoyed the tour and the local culture and food tour. Would not recommend seeing Running man but enjoyed seeing the crazy street that was thematic...reminded us of a version of Epcot center.

Unforgettable tour of Osaka with Hugo. He showed us the important sites to see with the historical explanations in particular. Good advice also for the viewpoints where to take our photos. We discovered the more typical neighborhoods with the fish market and hidden alleys where we would not have gone alone. We did our tour at our own pace, Hugo always listening to us and ensuring that our visit was as pleasant as possible. We took advantage of his advice regarding restaurants or typical dishes to try as well as nice purchases to make. We have wonderful memories of this moment. My husband and I visited Osaka on a day trip from Kyoto and decided to book a guide for a crash course of the city since we only had a few hours. Can’t say enough about how happy we were that we did. Hugo is literally the best tour guide we’ve ever had, and we’ve traveled to over 30 countries. He customized our entire experience to our interests and made sure we were thoroughly immersed in the city’s amazing culture, and that we got to taste allllll the food. Lovely and relaxed morning with Hugo, who took us around Osaka at our own pace, visting galleries, squares, a food market, shops and gave us hints of the city's lifestyle. He also came up with useful tips on restaurants and things to see. Grazie mille!
