We had an amazing trip, everything was perfectly organized and the room was really nice.
Our guide Maichael was exceptional and arranged everything personalized for us, we could even visit a temple that was not programmed in the trip.

John our tour guide was amazing, very friendly and well look after us. Tell us many story what we should know about every sites not too much and too short but good to understand what we will see and what happened. Many trip advise what to do and what to avoid the whole time of the trip. Egypt is safe from war and no danger from war at all.

We had a fantastic time on the tour. Mena our tour guide gave exceptional service ensuring we knew exactly what we would be doing at all times. He was both professional and easy to have a laugh with at the same time. My husband and I were not feeling 100% one day and he altered our tour to suit making sure we didn’t miss anything. We highly recommend this tour and Mena you are truly an asset for Journey to Egypt!

The time we spent on the cruise was excellent; the experience was very good, nice, clean, confiable and excelente service, congratulations to the chef for the delicious food, especially the typical Egyptian dishes. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and everyone was respectful and helpful. However, the highlight of the trip was undoubtedly gaining a better understanding of Egypt's ancient history. Despite its vastness, our guide, Mena Tharwat, explained everything with great patience and super clear examples, making every second at the temples meaningful. Additionally, Mena was very kind to us, ensuring we always had fresh water, taking good care of us, helping with purchases (buying souvenirs in Egypt can be challenging), and we enjoyed his company throughout the trip. He is very kind and warm person and has a wealth of knowledge about Egyptian history.

This was a trip I had been waiting my whole life to take. I booked prior to anything going on in the Middle East. I was a little bit nervous about going, but I decided to stay with my plans. I am so happy I did. This trip up the Nile river was simply amazing! Not once did I feel unsafe or threatened. The conflict which is far away, wasn’t even a thought. If you are worried, I would suggest that you go! Because of the conflict it’s quite empty at the sites, so that’s an added bonus!
Anyway, my guide, John, was amazing! Talk about white glove treatment! He took care of everything!! Your own personal tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about everything and just a pleasure to be around! He knows exactly where to go when you get there so you don’t miss the important things. You then have time to yourself to walk around and take pictures.
Highly recommended!

I recently went on an Egypt tour and had a fantastic time. The tour group prioritized our safety and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I felt safe and secure the entire trip. The itinerary was well-planned, allowing us to explore iconic landmarks and immerse ourselves in the local culture. This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life! Journey to Egypt and our tour guide, John, were great. They took care of everything and helped us every step of the way. They WhatsApped us before the trip and set it up. John was amazing and explained the temples and sites very well. He also gave us tips when traveling through Egypt. Highly recommend Abu Simbel; it's incredible. The cruise ship was really nice and they even upgraded us to a suite! I took my 10 year old daughter and everyone was nice to her. Egypt is a beautiful and safe country, and if you go I can't recommend Journey to Egypt and John enough!

I hate giving reviews but felt I had to here. I’m not sure where they got they’re raving reviews but from the get go we were given the worst customer service. Once we paid they never got back to us. Their pdf information never opens on your email. I figured out why - there is no information for the customer We wound up having to wait until the day of the boat to get information on where, and which boat we were going on. No matter how many times we called or emailed no one would respond. We were forced to pay an extra $500 on a hotel because we were not given the correct information on when we could board. Once we got on boat, room didn’t look anything like photo and was next to loud engine. They wouldn’t move us even though we could see boat was not full. I asked for a portion of my money for all the bad customer service. No response. Not shocked. They are a very bad business how they got their reviews baffles me but I while I was their I saw much better business etiquette on other boats I wish I had gone on. If I could give them zero stars I would.

This cruise was incredible, but what really made it so special was our amazing tour guide Mena!!!
He thought of everything, he was always on the other end of the phone if we needed anything, he was smiley, happy, kind and full of knowledge.
Egypt is a chaotic place and we felt safe with him at all times.
The cruise ship was immaculate, the food was good and frequent, staff were friendly.
We can’t fault our experience, we went to so many magical places we never would have known about if it wasn’t for this cruise.
10/10, can’t recommend enough.
