Steven (Stephen?) was very knowledgeable and nice. Made it a great experience even with the worst weather. Didn't realize it would be just me so that was a new experience but that made it more personal.

The three hour tour was excellent. Our tour guide, Steven (or is it Stephen?), was very knowledgeable and personable. His movie trivia questions were challenging and fun. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time on our tour. Sarah was very knowledgeable and friendly. A week later, we're still talking about our tour. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the tour very much. It was informational and our guide was very nice. It was a pleasant and quiet change from all the holiday crowds in mid-town. The one draw back was that the windows of the bus were not too clean, making it difficult to see at times

Overall, the tour was a good one. Although, it was not something for someone who already knows NYC. Having previously lived in the city for 4 years, it was a bit underwhelming. Although the guide was extremely charming.

We’re big classic movie fans. Big roomy comfortable bus picked us up in central location. Made many stops to get out and pullovers to view locations. Little video clips were played to compare current locale with the film. Jason the guide was terrific, very personable, and knew so much info on different movies, AND was happy to answer all the questions. Glad to be on the bus due to rain. With New York traffic you’ll never cover ALL the great spots in 3hrs, they did a great job cramming in ass much as they could. We went on the TCM cruise afterward, this was a great addition. Thank you Jason for a great time.

I have taken a previous tour from this company and it was fabulous. For this tour, I bought my husband, 15 yr old daughter, and my parents. It was perfect! We got to see so many sights - many we would never have known what was without the tour. Everyone enjoyed it! My husband loved getting fresh bread from Zabar's. Jason is very knowledgeable about NYC and was able to answer all our questions. I look forward to taking future tours with On Location Tours!

Entertaining and interesting three hours spent with a great guide and very nice guy, Jason, as we made our way around New York City with plenty of film clips, behind-the-scenes knowledge, trivia, and information about our favorite classic movies (and TV shows, too).

Tour guide Sarah was nice but, overall, this was just disappointing. Not as advertised. Boring. Not worth the cost.
The big red bus unavailable due to "mechanical issues" but I think because we had a smaller group, they went with a smaller vehicle. That meant no restroom on the (now) van, poor visibility due to the big bulkhead in the van. It also meant one of the stops was spent standing in line at Starbucks to use the restroom--pretty ridiculous.
We made a few stops for photo ops but skipped others when no one spoke up to say they wanted to have a "moment" at a particular stop. Missing the Empire State Building because of some traffic thing was a major bummer. (A traffic thing? It's NYC--there's always a traffic thing!)
And the tour ended about 30 minutes early! Surely there was time to see something else!
Lots of modern movies/TV mentioned because they were shot where we were (and tour guide seem enamored of them) but this was the TURNER CLASSIC MOVIE tour so we really didn't give a rip about that stuff.
Paying extra to sit up front wasn't worth it. Buying (in advance) their flimsy tote bag wasn't worth it. Planning a weekend in NYC with this as our main outing SO wasn't worth it.
Do yourself a favor: Watch TCM. Skip this tour. If you wanna see NYC, go for it on one of those hop on/hop off tour buses with open-air seating on top. I wish we had!
