WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Boulder City
Start your tour with pick-up from select hotels on Las Vegas Blvd. Heading east, you'll arrive at historic Boulder City, a town built originally to house the workers of the Hoover Dam. This is where it all started! Discover the history of this quaint little town on the outskirts of Las Vegas!
2. Hemenway Park
You will make a short stop at Hemenway Park, well known for where Desert Big Horn Sheep hang out!
3. Lake Mead National Recreation Area
You'll stop at Lake Mead Lookout for an amazing panoramic view of Lake Mead and learn about the history of the lake and its present troubles and other interesting facts.
4. Hoover Dam Bypass
Next, you'll make a stop at the Hoover Dam bypass Bridge (Mike O’Callagham - Pat Tillmam Bridge) where you have the opportunity to walk up to the bridge, almost a 1000ft above the Dam. Here, you'll enjoy an incredible view of the Dam and Colorado River. Your tour guide will tell you interesting facts and how the the Hoover Dam was constructed. This is a view not to be missed!
5. Hoover Dam
Enjoy a drive over the top of the Hoover Dam. You'll make stops at various points for more info and photo ops of the dam and Lake Mead. After this mini Hoover Dam tour, you'll return to the Las Vegas Strip.
6. Seven Magic Mountains
Upgrade your Hoover Dam tour to include a stop at the Ugo Rondinone art installation in the middle of the Mojave Desert. These colorful stacked rocks make for the most instagrammable moments in Las Vegas!

I was amazed at how Bob was very knowledgeable of all the places that we visited. Seeing the difference in the transformation of what and how the dam was built was amazing. We enjoyed the tour very much.

We had a great tour. Victor gave us lots of information and clearly gave us a time to report back to the bus at each stop. The return drop-off was a little confusing and disorganized. Thought we'd be dropped off at our pickup point, but instead we were dropped at bus stops near our hotel.

This was an incredible tour. Skip was our guide and was awesome! Very informative! It was nice to learn about the history of Las Vegas and the Hoover Adam. I would highly recommend a trip with Skip!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed the 3 hour Hoover Dam Small Group Mini Tour from Las Vegas. We chose it for the abbreviated duration of the tour but feel we saw everything that a longer tour could offer and had the advantage of spending the afternoon on our own on the Strip sight-seeing. Our tour director, Pam, was knowledgeable, pleasant and engaging. She made our tour complete. The van was quite comfortable and we were grateful for the water. We made several stops affording us great views of the Dam and Lake Mead.

John was an amazing. He was super knowledgeable about the entire tour and was great to stop and let us take pictures (and take pictures of our groups) to make it an enjoyable experience
