Anyone can now experience the thrill of a surfing lesson at one of the area's best surf schools. You'll have fun, be safe and you won’t believe how easy it will be to get up and riding! Learning to surf is an amazing experience and an awesome thing to do while in Surfers Paradise. This surf lesson caters to ages 12 and up with dedicated children's lesson available during school holidays, all levels of fitness and no swimming abilities needed due to the safe location the lessons are conducted. Our lessons operate on a 1 instructor per 5 participant ratio so we are deemed one of the safest surf schools compared to most!

My wife, my son and his friend on holidays from Sydney had a fantastic time. We cannot recommend the surfing lessons highly enough. Great tutors and just lots of fun in a safe surf area,

We have never before surfed and we learned alot and were able to actually surf after one lesson.

Our family had an absolutely fantastic time with Get Wet Surf School. The instructors were the best. So friendly, encouraging and truly knowledgeable... Everyone came away smiling and desperate to book another session

Booked a surfing lesson and was really looking forward to it. But it turns out, you still have to walk about 40 minutes from Seaworld! Bus only goes as far as Sea World. We left 22 Hythe by bus at 8:15 am that day. Taking into account the busy traffic and the road that was open. My appointment was at 10am. When we arrived at Sea World around half past 9, I called to say that I still had to walk 40 minutes from there, after calling 3 times I finally received contact only to hear it out of our hands and I will tell the instructor! Furthermore, no service or assistance is provided. I understand very well that they cannot do anything about the traffic, but I would have at least offered the afternoon surfing lesson and not spoken to someone so uninterested. In the end I only got 15 euros back for a surfing lesson that I never took. So if you want to book this, make sure you leave earlier or go by car because it is all the way at the tip of the gold coast and not at Sea World as it says. Shuttle is offered, but we thought we were half an hour away, that should be fine, but not!

Awesome staff made sure we were comfortable and safe the whole time. Instructors were knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We had so much fun.

My wife and I really enjoyed this afternoon. Our instructors were awesome and did everything possible to make sure we felt both safe and comfortable. Once we were in the water and attempting to stand on our boards, they were very observant and offered constructive criticism as needed. Their support was both noted and appreciated. We had a lot of fun!
Our only issue with this booking was the photographs after. We felt they were over priced and it was difficult to ascertain what the photos looked like before purchasing. It would’ve been nice if the company had some package offers as opposed to cost per picture.
Overall a good experience that was a little tainted by photograph constraints.
