It's a fun experience, the white desert is one of a kind. Our driver/guide Mahmoud(?) was chatty and kept it fun, he also spoke English better than most tour guides in Egypt so far.
Good accommodations were made for vegetarians - food was cooked hot and very basic.
Sleeping bags were cozy and clean.
Guide gave us plenty of time to enjoy the sights.
We couldn't see sunset because of clouds, but the full moon lit up the desert which was pretty cool.
Definitely worth a shot if you're on Egypt and bored of history.

A great tour for those who are nature lovers and love great landscapes. The tour was well organized and there was enough time at each location to take photos, enjoy the silence or wander around. When we arrived at camp there was everything you needed. The sleeping bag and blankets were thick so that you didn't freeze at night even in December. The food in the camp was more than sufficient. The Bedouine guide was very friendly and had a sense of humor. All in all, it was just an incredibly great experience.

It’s odd to say that nature can still be more wonderful than even the great pyramids and temples of Egypt, but it is so on this tour. There is a lot to see with a back drop of an outer worldly planet. Fossils lay all over the white powder sand, rock formations stand guard throughout the landscape and the silence is a new sensory experience.
What really made the tour special was our native Bedouin guide Mahmoud (Mo Mo) who has being doing the tour for 30 years. His driving skills through the dunes and crystal mountains was exceptional. His eye is very keen with helping find fossils and unique crystals, caves and look out points which helped a lot as you will experience sensory overload. Even more impressive was his skill in cooking over an open fire then playing traditional Bedouin flute while drinking tea under the stars. I could easily call this the best tour of my trip, but it was so different from all the sights in Egypt you cannot compare.

This was the best tour we did in Egypt. A bit of a long drive to get there, but definitely worth it. Great guide Mahmoud, (Moomoo) who spoke great English and was a lot of fun. Teaching us about the desert and the Bedouin life. His cooking skills spot on. Sleeping under the stars and just watching the sky all night long with shooting stars was truly the highlight. I’d definitely do this again but I’d do the 3 day. Best experiential tour we had. Perfect end to our 12 days in Egypt . Every need was met.

10 stars on this one. This was truly the best experiential Tour we did in Egypt. Yes it was a little bit of a drive, but sleeping with the stars as your ceiling after an incredible bbq dinner, was really more than we thought possible. Every need was met! Our guide Mahmoud (Moomoo) spoke great English, told us many stories of Bedouin life and about Egypt. We found fossils and other really cool things. Perfect tour to end our 12 days in Egypt. Truly the highlight of our trip! I joked about a 9 course meal.. we did have 9 dishes including sweet potato on the fire! Can’t say enough good things.. it was great ? Super happy.

As a lover of nature, this was my favorite part of my Egypt trip. The landscapes were stunning. Yes, the drive there is long; I dozed off for most of it. When you get to the good stuff it's amazing. There are frequent stops to look around and take photos. At night, your guide will cook you up a bedouin meal. It gets chilly, so bring some warm clothes. You can choose to sleep in a tent or under the stars. I chose under the stars. The sleeping bag and blanket were more than enough to keep me warm when sleeping though.
I highly recommend doing this if you enjoy the sheer beauty of nature.

We found out this tour with Amir in a review. We were a bit concerned at the beggining but Amir Will make you Feel secure because he answer all your questions. The communication is super easy and you can trust in what They say.
Is was perfectly organized, we had everything as promised. They are Very kind and take care to your needs. We ate Very well in the hotel and then when camping. We ate chicken at night and you felt like home. Its important to have a good jacket for the night but actually to sleep they provide blankets and really good sleeping bags. Nothing to say unless thank to Amir and the drivers to make this trip safe and unique.
Note: this is not a luxury camp but in fact theres no need when you have that sky at night

This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. 'Full Moon', the meaning of his name which I cannot remember was wonderful. He was skilled at everything, great cook, mechanic-helped another driver, driver, gracious kind host. I slept in the open and truly soaked up the experience. Would highly recommend this driver/tour guide and company.

Absolutely amazing experience, we were looked after and made to feel like a family while experiencing panoramic views that just seem to be from out of this world. The trip itself is full of excitement and hidden wonders, I cannot recommend this tour enough. Truly magical experience with Amir and his family.
