Visit Gallipoli and Troy, two historic Turkish sites, on a 2-day tour from Istanbul with 3-star hotel accommodation in central Çanakkale included! After traveling to the Gallipoli peninsula with a knowledgeable guide, tour the World War I battlefields and learn about the events and aftermath of April 25, 1915. Visit now-serene memorials such as Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, Brighton Beach and Anzac Cove on a walking tour, and enjoy plenty of free time to see sights independently, too. The next day, visit the ancient city of Troy for a tour of its archeological site and the Trojan Horse while learning about the mythological Trojan War.

Fantastic tour so glad we went. The bus was very clean and comfortable. Fa (our tour guide) had a fantastic knowledge of the area and spoke great English, and even paid for and organised a taxi to get us away from our hotel as the bus could not come to us. He put a high emphasis on getting to the event on time as to get a good spot for the long night on the grass in the cold. I think we were in the first 10 buses to go through the Secerutiy screening and in the top 10 to leave the event. Also he was very helpful when I left my phone on the bus to get it back to me. Thanks for the experience, I recommend it if your interested in the history of the ANZAC’s.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Troy and Gallipoli, mostly because our driver, Cengis, (medicine man🤣)and our guide, Orcun, were both so personable and went out of their way to give us a special Turkish experience. Orcun was knowledgeable about history and made it interesting with many anecdotes, answering all of our questions with patience and enthusiasm. We had such a fun time, especially over a delicious dinner with many laughs. All in all a time to remember and cherish always. We feel like we have made new friends!
The day before, we had a tour on foot of Istanbul and our guide was equally fantastic. So sorry but we’re not sure if we remember his name correctly so we won’t write it here.
Highly recommend. Teşekkür ederim.

Wow. I am thoroughly impressed. Staying in Istanbul for a month (from America) to work remotely and do graduate school, and decided to take a look at Tripadvisor for some activities. Saw a "2 Day Gallipoli and Troy" trip, for a great price (transportation, meals, hotel stay, tours... everything you need for a great weekend). Coming during the pandemic actually made it a very pleasant (and less crowded) experience, something most people would not experience otherwise. My guide for the Gallipoli Tour (which was only me - was not expecting a private tour!) was INCREDIBLE (my apologies for forgetting, but his name was either Balut or Balun or something similar). He gave me all the historical information I could ever ask for, very knowledgeable, took great pictures for me, and was personable throughout the tour. I am blown away by the service and experience!

Both days had very knowledgeable and experienced guides. Highly recommend you do the two day tour; many of my fellow group members signed up for only one day and lamented the 4.5 hour drive from Istanbul, the 4 hour tour (Gallipoli or Troy) then 4.5 hours back to Istanbul on the bus. Go for the two day tour and see both! Plan for windy weather in Troy (on average 280 days per year).

Gallipoli was amazing and well worth the trip down! We also enjoyed our night over at Canakkale, what a nice town, and the accommodation was fine. The trip was very long and wouldn’t recommend it for a one day trip, however with the night stop over was very manageable. The Troy tour was quite short in time and not as well put together as the Gallipoli tour, I don’t think we would have been happy had we only booked for the one tour, but Gallipoli really saved it. All tour guides were great. Overall would recommend

Great trip with Noursedah (spelling?) and driver Mustapha. We had a smooth trip to Gallipoli and learnt a lot while there. The maritime museum in Canakkale was very interesting and well laid out. This morning we explored Troy, which was amazing. Excellent meals, guide and driver.

Great trip. Guide was very knowledgable and informative, was always very pleasant and friendly and spoke very good English.

Meal breaks were very good (especially lunch on the 2nd day) and the accommodation at the overnight stop in Çanakkale was Of a high standard.

We had a really good two days with Onur our Guide and Safi our Driver. An easy on time pick up from our Air BnB location near Galata Tower and out west to the Gallipoli Peninsula, stopping at the Turkish aid station memorial and cemetery and then on to Kapatepe where we had a thorough ground and history brief from Onur before proceeding to ANZAC Cove and on up to Chunuk Bair via Shrapnel Gully, Lone Pine, the Nek and Walkers Ridge. Excellent commentary from Onur along the way. Day two we headed for Troy. A well excavated and wonderfully organised track around the ruins of the town spanning thousands of years of occupation. The museum is also well worth the visit. Full marks to Fez travel and to Onur and Safi for a great trip. Highly recommended.

My parents and I booked this tour last minute when we discovered my brother was going to be representing the Australia Army at the ANZAC Day ceremony in Gallipoli in 2017. Duygu was our absolutely incredible guide. From the moment she picked us up at our hotel she was so easy to get along with, kept us up to date with arrival and security changes, and gave us all an insight into those fateful events from the Turkish point of view. A once in a lifetime opportunity I will never forget. Thank you so much Duygu for being a part of it.

Disconcerting never given an itinerary for an advertised tour or direct email contact. I think the added Troy tour was tacked together. Gallipoli is a must. Quite well done. Being pushed out the bus and the hotel direction pointed out, mmmmm. Cannikale an unexpected gem. Tour in city great. Troy don't
