The first day was Tulum and Jacqueline was our tour guide and she was fabulous. The second day was Islam had us and Alex was our entertainment and he was great and all of the staff on the boat were wonderful. Also, the transportation to and from the hotel was great. We were very far because we were in Tulum and they picked us up and we very timely and brought us back both times, it was a great experience. I highly recommend them.

Communication was really bad prior to our trips. I messaged multiple times without any reply. It's a bit unclear whether the two days have to be two consecutive days. I wanted two consecutive days and I messaged them to double check that. That is what we needed up getting so all worked out.
Tulum is not really worth the entire day in my opinion. It took an hour to get to and the day felt quite unorganised and we wasted a lot of time. Getting into the ruins took ages with a lot of queuing. We also all had to wait whilst some of our group got lunch with an affiliated restaurant. The trio doesn't include food, so for me not sure why we have a lunch time scheduled in in addition to free time at the shops. A lot of waiting around for other people to eat. The centote we went to was nice but very busy. Not as pretty as most. But great snorkeling.
What's described as an hour and a half in tulum and the cenote respectively took an entire day and we didn't get back to our hotel until dark.
The isla mujeres boat trip was great. If you really want to do the MUSA snorkeling book another excursion though. That was one of our highlights and we were so rushed. We only saw one statue. There were just so many boats and groups though, it all just felt so manic. The boat, staff and island were amazing though. Really fun day and the island is beautiful. They offer a golf buggy ride round the island which I recommend. So fun.

After Isla Mujeres, Cancun was a sorry mass of concrete, busy streets, tall buildings, and loud music. One night, for early access to the airport, was enough.
No problems, seemed safe enough in the hotel compound, but geez.
Beach was crowded and covered with trash. Piles of trash in corners and rocky crevices.
Not a place I would take my family.
We did find one restaurant that was delightful. Quiet, great service, doors on the ceiling. Across the street from Jim Carey’s disaster. It was such a relief to find it. Sorry, I can’t remember the name.
An interesting visit. Maybe young people will find it fun. We did not.
Thank God for 7-11 coffee!
Oh, and taxicab driver took us for an expensive ride from the ferry to our hotel. I gave him the address, but he claimed it was miles away. Turned out it was a few blocks from the ferry.
Beware.
