Sleep in a yacht cruise
2 day - 1 night cruise to Rosendal and Jondal, Hardanger Fjord.

Walk directly from your hotel in Bergen to our yacht, and start a 2 day - 1 night cruise to the Hardanger Fjord, with Rosendal, waterfalls, Jondal village and Folgefonna glacier.

We start at Bryggen in Bergen after breakfast, and cruise out the fjords of Bergen, through the archipelago, passing small islands and fjords on the way. The pulse is low, and we enjoy the lovely surroundings on the way. After 2 hours we reach the Hardanger Fjord, where we will call upon Rosendal after total 3 hours.

In Rosendal you will walk up to the Baroniet manor from 1665, with a lovely garden in amazing sorroundings by mountains and waterfalls. Enjoy your lunch here, before you come back to the boat.

We booked this cruise for July this year, with my husband and two kids. Started cruising from Bergen about 10 AM, and took it nice and easy down the fjords and archipelago near Bergen, untill we reached Rosendal after about 3,5 hours. Walked up to the Baroniet castle, for lunch in the garden (garden cafeteria). Fantastic atmosphere there!

Continued cruising after lunch, went to the waterfall called Furebergsfossen. Amazing.

After that we cruised to Jondal village, a tiny place, but with one exceptional hotel, with a restaurant for dinner. We slept over in the boat after dinner.

We organized our own breakfast the next morning, and then the cruise-company car piced us up to go to the Folgefonna glacier. Amazing drive up to about 1200 meters above the fjord, where we arrived at the glacier. Great view up there, and a glacier was also a new experience to us. Stayed there for a couple of hours, and had lunch at the new cafeteria up there. Drove back down, and then crossed the Hardanger Fjord with a ferry. Took the car back to Bergen, with a few stops underway, amongst other the Steinsdalsfossen waterfall, where you can follow the path behind the waterfall, and dont get wet. Try it!!

We loved the two-day experience, and are quite sure we will come back to Norway for more.

Thanks
