*Escape the crowds - Private riding tour*
Experience riding an Icelandic horse and learn about the traditions around horsemanship in Iceland. Our little farm is located just 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavík - but still you feel like you are at the countryside when you arrive with us. We only have few horses and our riding centre is very small, that way we feel we can keep the atmosphere personal and authentic. This is a private tour, so it can be customized to your riding level.
Suitable for both beginners and advanced riders.
Full riding time is roughly one hour.

FANTASTIC! A one on one experience. The place was a bit tricky to find, but the experience was great. A lovely ride, with magnificent views. My guide was friendly and professional.

A true experience! We had a great time at Icelandic Riding what a knowledgeable guide and interesting place. This place is so unique and so different from all the typical tourist destinations. We had a great time riding with Snjoprinsessa. My friend couldn't pronounce her name so she nicknamed her Snickers :) She's a professional rider who took us on a wonderful trail ride. The weather was beautiful and the Icelandic countryside is amazing. The horses were very gentle and we would definitely recommend scheduling this tour.

My daughter and I chose this to do during our 3 day visit to Iceland. Wow! So much fun. Our guide was so kind, thoughtful. It was very obvious she wanted us to have a great experience. She included us getting the horses ready for our ride. The time out together was fun and also scenic. This was definitely the highlight of our trip. Thank you so much for this wonderful memory. We have shared our pics with family and friends.

This was a great experience and was one of the highlights of our trip. Having a private experience was so peaceful and uplifting. Nina took the time to make us comfortable with the horses she chose for us and then took us on beautiful ride through the icelandic countryside to a scenic lake. Throughout the ride she spoke with us, checked on us, took photos of us and made us feel like we were riding with a friend. None of us had any riding experience but had the best experience. The stables are located just 15-20 mins outside of Reykjavik by car or there is a public bus that goes as well.
Highly recommend this as a unique and fun experience.

Outstanding experience as an experienced rider, the horses are so sure-footed across all sorts of terrain and varying speeds. Enjoyed the tolt and galloping up hill sides and through streams. Highly recommend!
