I am a solo female traveller and day trips like these are the best option. My guide was knowledgeable and considerate. I have a slight mobility problem after a knee replacement and he made sure that I was ok to walk up and down the stairs at the catacombs and the Citadel.
He also knows the best place to find the best ice cream in Alexandria

The driver spoke on the phone all the way from Cairo to Alexandria and from Alexandria to Cairo.
The tour guide took us to the fish restaurant even though she knew we are vegetarians. The price is ridiculous, same price with the fish plate.
This guide didn't give us enough time to visit. she forced us to finish the tour as soon as possible.
we had a very bad experience with this private tour.

The car to pick us up in cairo was late. Then when we reached alexandria the driver and guide could not find eachother. Finally the tour started but then it was all good.

Very safe driver, Samara, from Cairo. The guide could have given use more information. The Citadel was definitely the highlight. Lovely lunch on the beachfront. Would recommend it.

The visit to the Alexandria library and the Mosque were amazing and the guide had a lot of knowledge on every part of the history and local customs.

We had an amazing time with our driver Ahmed and our lady guide who explained everything so well. She was friendly and attentive to our needs. The sites were very nice to visit, especially if it is your first time. The food at the restaurant was delicious.

Great day trip. Saw sights and provided great knowledge of all from our guide. Our driver Mohummad was outstanding. Picked up on time, was extremely friendly, he made us feel safe and comfortable the entire day. Our driver stops were excellent with great facilities. Thank you Mohummad

The tour was great, everything was in order. The driver, Ahmed was waiting for me at the airport at the time I mentioned. After 2.5 hours long drive, we reached Alexandria where I met Hebbah, the guide and she was really sweet in explaining and taking pictures and suggesting me things I should do and not do.
At the end of the trip we went for lunch to a French restaurant and it was right in front of the sea with a beautiful view.
Both of them never mentioned of any tip, they were not accepting even if I offered which I really liked, otherwise there are many guides who demand tips.
