Kazi our guide was excellent. He is a very friendly individual who speaks perfect English. We enjoyed the beautiful mountain views, the boat ride and the traditional Japanese village. Kazi was flexible and accommodated our group which included a person who walked very slowly with a cane. Kazi provided us with interesting information about the sites we visited and advice about activities, dining and shopping. His guidance really enhanced our tour experience.

Our tour guide, Mr. Jiro, was excellent. He took wonderful photos, suggested a (conveyor belt) sushi restaurant for lunch, and took us to a beautiful garden with flowers and yummy ice cream. The lake was also gorgeous and he gave us choices in terms if the itinerary.

Affan was our English speaking driver and was a pleasure to be with. He is a very good driver and gives good recommendations. We also asked if we could stop by a nearby Lawson and he gladly took us.

Here’s the thing to take note of:
The tour is for a 10 hour booking.

If you are going to get picked up at Tokyo, there goes your 2.5 hours of touring which will be eaten up with traffic. And dont forget that you need to leave a certain time to account for traffic going back as well.

So when we got picked up at our hotel, (Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay) at 8am, it took us almost 3hrs to get to Mt.Fuji area. It was around 11:30am so we were brought to the base of 5th Station where you have to get on a 40min bus ride to the top. You need to pay for you and your party for the bus ride.

(They dont allow public vehicles there right now)

So we lost the other items in the itinerary due to that 3hr traffic . So what did we do? We paid for 2,500jpy per 30min extra after 6pm.

After the 5th station, which was already 3pm by the time we got back to the vehicle , we still wanted to see the rope way, the world heritage Village and Gotemba Outlets. So all together we spent 30kjpy for 4hrs extra plus the surcharge.

Be prepared to spend extra for the hours because they wont move the itinerary tour - you basically pay for the 10hr when you book it.

So in honestly if we were to stick to the 10hr booking, we would only have 1 tour fulfilled in the itinerary which is 5th station and have gone back to our hotel from 3-6pm (drive back).

Unlesss you get the option to get picked up closer to Mt.Fuji you have longer times to go around.

The company does not move the times around to fulfill the itinerary unfortunately - about 6 hours of it is spent on traffic.

Paying extra is your best option.

We had Khasan as our guide and had an amazing tour of Fuji. He was an excellent communicator, and for English speakers there was zero issues. He helped us curate our day to ensure we saw the best of Fuji and made for perfect timing from a very tight connecting train from Odawara to Kyoto.

Five stars for Khasan and the tour. Well worth it if you want to pack a ton of fun and good eating into a tight schedule!

Our Mount Fuji tour with driver Taki was an exceptional experience from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating throughout the journey. He recommended us for a boat ride on the lake Kawaguchiko which was the best experience to see mt fuji. He took us many pictures of Mount Fuji from different views. We enjoyed the lunch also at a local restaurant. Overall, the tour provided a seamless blend of comfort, cultural immersion, and breathtaking views, making it a highlight of our visit to Japan. Travelers need to beware! Ignore the listed itinerary on the TripAdvisor listing and confirm with your driver the stops you will actually be making on your tour. Or they will take you on a different tour than the one you paid for.

We just got back from this tour, listed at 10 hours. The driver didn’t take us to two of the stops on the itinerary we paid for, took us to two other stops no one was interested in, and brought us back in less than 8 hours. The company’s excuse was that I didn’t tell the driver I wanted to go on the tour I paid for. Make it make sense.

Two stars because the driver was very nice and apologetic (although he said we’d get a partial refund from the tour company, which didn’t turn out to be true. That’s not his fault, though.). And the van was comfortable.

It you choose to use this company, I just recommend that you confirm absolutely everything before the driver begins. Don’t rely on anything written in the description here, or on any communications via WhatsApp with the company before you get in the van. Verify everything.
