We chose a night tour of the Museums and Sistine Chapel thinking the crowds would be light. We were wrong! It was packed with tours. Ours was small--only 12 people, so we had a more personal experience. You are literally rushed through the Museums. Security guards hustle you along, even if your guide wants to answer questions and give details of what is on the walls. Stairs everywhere--felt like I was climbing to the pearly gates. Never thought we'd make it to the Chapel and when we did, I have to say I was underwhelmed. Crowded little room, dim lighting (nite time tour added to the dimness) and stiff neck from looking up! You can't skip seeing it. Just be prepared. And the exiting process? Longer than the entrance process. One time--never again.

It was less crowded in the evening. The views at night were still great. We saw an Army band playing and our tour guide Fabia was so knowledgeable about the Vatican and Sistine chapel. I’d follow her anywhere! Must do and see while in Rome.

Amazing tour! I will say it was a Strenuous 2 hours with all of the steps & walking! Our tour guide was very nice & extremely knowledgeable!

MP was so great! She had so much passion & knowledge and shared it in a way that was easy to digest. She was told right before we started our tour that the chapel would be closing early and she navigated us through the crowds efficiently without feeling like we were missing out on anything. It was warm inside so if I went again I would make sure to have water with me. There are steps and it is crowded inside so be ready to walk! It could be tricky to stay together, but MP made sure we were always accounted for.

Michele was an excellent tour guide! He really made the art come to life, it was such an amazing experience to go to the Vatican at night. I highly recommend you book this over a day time tour. If you get Michele as a tour guide, you’ll be in for an amazing and informational experience.

Tour started extremely late. Also, we had to wait for tour guide to get all tickets and headsets as she had not already had them so it cut into our tour. Then the entire tour was rushed and we had no time to stop. It was not at all what I expected. Extremely disappointed

Wonderful evening. Thankful for doing the evening tour to get cooler temps and a few less crowds. Tour guide was great. Giving 4 stars due to lots of people on the tour. It said 0-16 people and was over 20 on the tour.

The after-hours tour of the Vatican Museum fit perfectly into our schedule and the crowds were less than regular hours. Our tour guide was very clear and knowledgeable. I was glad I did this tour.
