You will be transported via the scenic route enjoying a tour and karaoke to Fort Montague to catch a short 20 min boat ride to Rose Island. Upon arrival at the beach, you'll be greeted by the calm nature of the property. After walking up the path way, you'll be greeted by warm clear water, inviting you to rush in. You can sit back and relax on one of our beach chairs, or enjoy a nice view of the waterfront. A pig show is held, at which time you can interact with the pigs. feed them, pet them etc. After all the fun is done, you can visit the bar for a nice cool drink, or by the shack for some good Bahamian food. The pigs were so adorable! Everyone from the pig trainers to the bus driver to the hostesses made it a great time. Lunch was good, the location was a cute restaurant with a patio, small beach, dock, and artfully arranged hammocks and loungers around young palms and a beach volleyball court.

Amazing experience. It was a great experience and well worth the experience. We were picked up on time, the boat issue was resolved quickly, the location was great and the pigs were amazing. I would recommend it.

Unfortunately I was unable to take this trip with them due to weather and rough sea conditions. Communication from their end was poor. They were unwilling to make a cancellation decision long after other tour operators looked at the weather and saw it wasn't suitable to execute. Phone calls to their number never resulted in an actual answer, just that they would have to ask someone else and get back to me. The eventual cancelation decision went out approximately 10pm the night prior making any attempt to reschedule wait until the following morning ... and that remained inconclusive for about six hours until I was eventually informed I couldn't reschedule for my last day. As a comparison, the dive shop looked at the weather forecast and sent out a cancellation email days before my scheduled trip with them with refund, reschedule, and voucher options clearly spelled out ... something J&S simply did not provide.
I'm sure the actual experience is amazing after going out with one of their competitors but if things go wrong getting answers is frustrating.

The staff were great. The food was tasty, but not hot. You don't actually swim with the pigs. They give you apples pieces to give to the animals. Pretty crowded so it may have hindered the pigs going into water. The pigs just want the apples and then leave when they are done.

You will consider many tours on Trip Advisor. However, this is the best one! From pick up to drop off it was a seamless process. The boat ride to Rose Island is about 25-30 minutes, the captain and crew are very professional and made us feel safe. They gave us vouchers for food and soft drink. They provided the apples to feed the pigs. Overall, it was an amazing experience and would book again!

The staff was great from the minute we got picked up in the taxi. Awesome Dawson was fantastic and very informative about the culture of the Bahamas. The pigs were fun, they didn’t really swim. You get to feed them and pet them.

They cancelled the tour the previous hours and I asked for a refund and they didn’t refund the whole amount of money we payed. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Grateful I found this tour! I really highly recommend this tour!
My family & I had a very fun and happy time! Everything went so well, from the moment our driver, jungle, picked us up to being dropped off to the boat (to take us to the pig's island) & then the journey back to the hotel.
Our driver, jungle, was the sweetest & a comedian. He was super awesome and taught us a lot about bahama & the culture, the food & the people. Loved that he made us do karoke at the end, on the drive back to our hotel. Haha Thanks for the experience & fun!
All the staff were excellent and very friendly. The lunch was delicious (small salad, rice&peas, chicken, bbq chicken wing, corn, fried fish) but was a small amount. Choice of 1 soda. If you want alcohol, you have to buy it.
Music choice from the boat to the pig's beach was excellent - loved every song that was played! The pig part was cool - saw them up close & got to feed them.
The pig's island was soo beautiful, more beautiful than the waters at sandyport which we stayed at & at baha mar. The water had different hues: light blue, blue and greenish. It was so beautiful! The waters were so clean and with tons of area on the island to swim and do other activities (paddleboat, canoeinf, etc). My only complain was that there wasn't that much beach chairs available for those who wanted to sit and just lay back/tan.
Also loved the boat ride to the pig's island. Great view of the ocean & the scenery! One of my fav parts.
Nonethess, this tour was great and we all had a great time! Highly recommended!

It started with Jungle who was a good tour guide and funny. Lauren was a good guide and was very helpful with some paper work that needed to be filled out. The boat ride to the island was awesome. The best part was when the pigs got released and stormed the beach. Lunch was very tasty. The boat ride home we saw Oprah and Michael Jordan’s houses. Another highlight was singing karaoke with Jungle and crew, now I know why we had to keep our day jobs Fantastic experience!!

Waited for over an hour..no one came to pick us up from the hotel. Emailed and rang the tour operator..no reply!! Really disappointing!!! Really no stars. Still havent heard a thing!!! Ruined the day.
