Small group Pasta and Tiramisu class in Venice

We had a lovely evening with Matilde - great host, grandmaster of Tiramisu and connoisseur of slow food. We will return, there are so many things to learn!

Matilde was great with our daughter (and the other kids in our small group). The food was delicious and we enjoyed learning about the cooking culture of north and south Italy.

Our chef Andrea was a wonderful host and instructor on how to make tiramisu, tortelli and tagliatelle. The space was a lovely apartment which felt more homey than a pro cooking class. Our group really supported each other. I fully intend to use my new skills when I get back from vacation.

Such a fun and memorable experience! Our host Patricia and cooking instructor Daniella were both wonderful. We had tons of laughs with them as we made delicious pasta and tiramisu. Daniella even brought gorgeous carnival costumes for us to try on before dinner. I highly recommend this event!

Although the directions were confusing and the location was hard to find, the cooking class was amazing! Barbara was wonderful and went out of her way to make our experience memorable. She even came to find us when we couldn't get to her house! Our fourteen-year-old granddaughter likes to cook, and Barbara did a wonderful job demonstrating how to make gnocchi and tiramisu. Her cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip! We highly recommend it, but be sure that Trip Advisor has made the directions very clear and that the emergency phone number is correct before you leave!

Barbara is a lovely host who taught us to make some excellent food. She made us laugh and taught us a lot about the history of the food we were making. Great experience!

We were in Italy for a wedding and my family planned on meeting in Venice afterwards. I saw this class and thought “what a great way to spend time together and learn something new”. When i filled out the questionnaire, it asked if there were any food allergies and I had put gluten free in there. Turns out the person I thought had a gluten intolerance, didn’t.
Needless to say, our hostess had planned our entire dinner to be gluten free and learned how to make the pasta just for us!
She is a wonderful person and her assistant, who did the translating for us, was also very gracious.
My family learned and helped make ravioli, gnocchi and tiramisu. Everything was wonderful, yet she kept apologizing that because it was gluten free, she didn’t think it tasted like authentic pasta.
She couldn’t have been more wrong. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this to anyone that asks.

Fantastic cooking class with Carlotta, who made me, my husband and two teenage kids feel very much at home. We made fettuccine and ravioli, followed by tiramisu and it’s the best meal we’ve had in Italy! Aside from the cooking, we also learned a lot about living as a local in Venice and got some great recommendations as to what to do in Venice and where to eat. A truly memorable evening and highly recommended!
