I booked to go to Coco bongo yesterday. We were told you would be seated and all-inclusive bar. On arrival we were left stood in the middle of the bottom floor. We were asked if we wanted to sit at a table we said yes then they hit me with a price of £250. I said I wasn't willing to pay that so then he escorted me back to the down stairs to the bottom floor at the very back. You couldn't move couldn't get to the bar. The waiters only served drinks to the seated after been well tipped. Food was offered in a basket burger and fries but we didn't have space to eat. It's a shame as we were so looking forward to cco bongo. If you book please be aware you will be pressured in to paying out more money. We left after 2 hours really disappointed.

I went to Coco Bongo with a friend, we both thought and were told that this was the best nightclub in Mexico.
I strongly disagree. It honestly the worst nightclub I've ever attended.
Employees try to force you to drink their paid shots.
The place was so packed I couldn't even move my arms. It was utter garbage.
The layout does not allow any room to do anything but bob your head and look around.
The show was entertaining, for what I could see. The main stage is on the 2nd floor on top, so good luck seeing anything if you are on the first floor.
All in all, I'd say don't waste your money going to this place. The only interest seems to be selling tables and tickets. Doesn't matter the customer experience.
Utter trash, do not go there.

No skip the line , is just marketing, you have to do the regular line as any ticket sales in the venue

We had to que for an hour to get in had we known this we wod have been prepared. The security and safety of the place is good, and the shows were outstanding they really were non stop. The atmosphere was fantastic. Only criticism was that we had no snack food, I did ask staff on numerous occasions bit gto shrugged off. Some staff were a little rude but overall the majority of staff were welcoming and if is definitely worth going.

Friendly staff and fun show. Good drinks included in package, I thought the Prosecco would be watered down and it wasn’t, which was great. The waiter walked by with Chips, hot dogs and burgers on a large tray regularly. Standing wasn’t too bad, we found somewhere to lean when we wanted a rest. We were not able to skip the line with this ticket. The dancer in the mask walked through the audience, he only took photographs with people in the seated section. As I was standing I was told I’d have to pay to take a picture with him. I got pulled on the stage to dance which was fun. It defiantly didn’t start for 930pm, was good to be near the start of the que but a lot of waiting till like 1030pm and we didn’t get to sit down. They asked for my ID to confirm I had made the booking so bring that. Glad I went and got to experience it.

The show is not great its 1000time better in Cancun. It was not much disco.-dancing. Drinks was ok. They serve free chips, hotdog, shots

First & foremost, this is solely a review of Viator and NOT the overall Coco Bongo experience. Coco Bongo itself was a ton of fun and I highly recommend going.
As for Viator, to say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. The draw of a “skip the line” ticket is to…well…SKIP the line. Unfortunately, this was not the case with the ticket we purchased. Not only did we have to wait in the normal line, we then had to wait at the box office for the Coco Bongo staff to verify that our Viator “voucher” was even valid. This took at least 10 minutes and no less than 4 people to accomplish. I place a majority of the blame on Viator for not communicating effectively with the venue. Once the CB staff agreed that yes, I actually did purchase a valid ticket, we were finally allowed in. ALL of this headache would have been avoided if we purchased our ticket directly from the CB website, which is my strong recommendation for anyone considering this experience. Also, I cannot recommend enough buying a Gold Member ticket. This allows you entry before the general ticket holders AND seating. Having a seat/table as opposed to standing on the floor is an absolute must.
Overall, Coco Bongo in Playa del Carmen was a great time, but I cannot in good faith recommend using Viator to purchase your ticket.

Awful experience. Up sell up sell up sell from the very first moment when it was supposed to be all inclusive .
When we arrived the que would of taken an hour so we where offered an que jump for $10 pp . This then took you into a shorter que for about 15 mins .
You are then rammed in to a small space unable to move . It was impossible to get a drink , we had 3 drinks the whole night . Service is shocking and they are only interested in serving girls or VIP . If you want a shot it’s $6 . I thought it was all included ?
Entertain starts with a group of people dressed up and ad lib dancing . We could of done the same ourselves . It’s advertised as 29 shows . The main shows Come on every 15 mins and last about 1 min then you are back to a Mexican tv game show . All the shows are very similar just different costumes .
We left early bored and soba .
We will be heading down to our travel guide to get a refund as it was not worth $20 let alone $100

10/10 highly recommend. The service and experience is amazing. Definitely something to get into if you want a fun filled vacation.
