Experience an unforgettable afternoon as you head north from Lisbon to the UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Landscape of Sintra. Admire the Royal Palace, the best preserved medieval palace in Portugal. Located in Sintra Village itself, the Royal Palace was inhabited continuously from the 15th century through the late 19th century, and was the summer playground of Portuguese royalty. You'll identify the palace's hallmark conical chimneys, and appreciate the rich collection of azulejos, or glazed tiles.
continues as we pass through the lush gardens of Parque Natural Sintra-Cascais, making our way to Cabo da Roca (from March to October), the westernmost point in continental Europe.
Then soak in ocean sights as we journey along the coast, passing Guincho Beach, a windsurfing favorite, and Boca do Inferno (November to February), a natural grotto created by the sea.
Upon reaching Cascais, you'll enjoy the view overlooking the bay.

Very good half day tour of 3 places. Tour guide was good. Perhaps could point out restroom facilities in each place. Important as no toilet on bus.

Rainy day but we were able to see and do everything, rained mostly while we were on the bus! Cascais was beautiful, all stops were amazing in scenery. Sintra was gorgeous, lunch terrific, Pena Palace crowded, colourful and fascinating. Our guide was wonderful.

Despite the rainy d weather the trip was fabulous! Our guide did an excellent job of making the best of the weather and adjusted the trip slightly to accommodate. Highly recommend.

The bus was in good condition. The perfect driver and guide. I don't recommend taking this tour, because the time in Cascais is too busy!! We could only quickly walk to the beach and back! The time for this visit was half an hour... a shame.

The Cityrama tours are very well organized and informative. We booked this via our tour company, Gate1 & received instructions from them where to meet the tour. There was some miscommunication, however, because since Gate1 didn’t tell us that Cityrama was picking us up at our hotel, we got an Uber to the meetup spot. Despite the initial confusion, we had a great tour. The bus driver was great and the tour guide, Maritza, was very accommodating, especially when the audio tour headsets didn’t work for Sinatra castle - she just led us through and explained everything & answered our questions. We had a little time to explore the town on our own, then 2 other interesting stops in Caiscais, the Devil’s Hole, & a swing through Estoril before heading back. The bus did drop us off at our hotel, which we appreciated very much, since it was after dark (in Feb,) when we returned to Lisbon.

Tour guide very knowledgeable. Was informative & history of the area. We were disappointed at end of tour when a number of people were told they would be dropped off at their hotels while we were left in the dark in an unfamiliar area & told to go by McDonald's to find a taxi. Thankfully the hotel near there assisted us by calling a taxi for us.
Could the tour be done earlier so we don't return in the dark?

Missing the bus and having super Carlos drive us to catch up with Dorita. Go Carlos on split decisions about customer care and service recovery. Love Sintra, good timing for sunset in Cascais. Dorita thank you waiting and narrating the tour, but the good experience comes from connecting to people.

I really liked seeing the sites of this particular trip. My negative comment is that nowhere in the description does it say “charter bus” and “headsets”. In fact, it doesn’t say “how” you get from points A,B,and C to the next place. Seeing the western most point of Europe was beautiful.
