An absolutely wonderful private tour with Leonardo. Our guide was knowledgeable and went above and beyond to personalise the tour on the go, being very attentive to our requests on what we wanted to see more of. He was building a consistent narrative so that the stories about every work of art were easy to understand and remember in the context of history of art and history of Florence.

I am so glad I got a private tour of these museums. Space is limited amongst the crowds and it enabled me to really learn about the history and art. My tour guide was amazing and so informative.

Our tour guide, Camilla, was terrific. However, we didn't get the complete 3.5 hour tour. We began at 9:20 which is a little earlier than the scheduled 9:30 start time, but that was perfectly fine. We expected to have a private tour that would list until 12:50 but Camilla wrapped it up right at noon. We were a bit surprised, especially after we saw her leading another tour group right after she left us. We questioned her about it and she called the manager who tried to offer up the explanation that wait times in line were factored into the overall schedule. However, because the "skip the line" feature of our ticket enabled us to wait only a few minutes before entering the Accademia, we felt a bit short-changed. The "City Florence Tours" should make it clear to prospective tourists that 3.5 hours might not accurately reflect the amount of time that the guide is explaining things. We did get a partial refund for the overall cost, but we would have preferred to have a full 3.5 hour tour instead. That's what we thought we were getting when we paid for this very expensive tour. Our advice to others would be to ask a lot of questions in advance and to, perhaps, think twice about booking this tour.

Tour guide was wonderful! I am surprised how many people waited in long lines in the hot sun to experiece these museums. Yes, its a few dollars more but what is your time and comfort worth? Will never do museums like these without skip the line passes. We literally walked right in llke VIPs!
