Dracula's Castle, Peles Castle and Brasov - Private Day Trip from Bucharest

As a Canadian in Bucharest, when family visits I need someone who knows the area to depend on to give my guests an experience. Alin always delivers. Over 1000 pictures later, 1000 laughs, great food, my guests will once again never ever forget their trip. Alin’s the best. I promise.

An excellent trip well worth taking with an excellent tour guide aptly named 'Vlad' (not related to Dracula or so he says), Vlad was knowledgeable with a sense of humour and kept us occupied with his history lessons, a long day but well worth it.

The girls and I had a wonderful time. Ionela was a lovely guide who went above and beyond making this a special experience for my girls. Even when we were stuck in unusually heavy traffic, she told stories, fairytales, and jokes to my girls to make it enjoyable and help the time pass. Would highly recommend this trip and Ionela as a guide!

Octavian was a great guide who filled us in on lots of history and background on the places we visited as well as the country. Sorted the itinerary to suit us and engaged with us all during our trip.

Ionela was incredibly knowledgeable about everything Romania. Her personal stories about the struggles of the different generations of the Romanian people were very interesting. She was funny and willing to answer all of our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire day with her. She topped off the day by securing us a reservation at a top notch restaurant. We couldn’t recommend her more. Thanks so much for a fantastic day!!

Great trip! Octavian is awesome! Very detail in explaining the place we visited, bonus by showing us to other places a long the way. He is a Historian of bucharest! We had so much fun. Definately should visit the Peles Castle. Beautifull and memorable moment!

A very fun day tour to do! We opted for the private tour so that we were more flexible in determining the daily schedule during the day. We had a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide (thank you Petre!) and he took us everywhere all day and also told us many stories about Romania and the sights we visited. We personally thought Peles Castle was the highlight, a beautiful castle from the outside but absolutely stunning on the inside, you will be amazed by the sights. Petre helped us buy the tickets at the castle and also during the whole day. Afterwards, Bran Castle was less impressive and very touristy, but it is a must see. Brasov is a beautiful place to visit and walk around. Our guide Petre had provided us with a good lunch and came up with the idea of doing another Palinka tasting, which we did not refuse, so we had the tasting as an extra stop between Bran and Brasov. Very fun and delicious :-) In short: highly recommended to do this tour! Especially with a guide like Petre.
