Overall, it was good. Not great. The $15 marina fee was not a good experience. It should either be collected upfront or include in the many of the notices that they send us. Instead, it’s buried in the notes.
The crew and the boat were fantastic, but once you get back to the beach, they pretty much hold you hostage there with only chips and bean dip as snacks for the next hour and 30+ minutes or you pay US$80 to go to the resort side for the all you can eat buffet and drinks.

First time in Riviera Maya. Great few hours on the ocean. An opportunity to relax and take in some great sights. Awesome crew.

We scheduled a private catamaran and snorkeling trip for our family. We were picked up at our hotel in a private shuttle and then went to the beach club. We were told we would be back at our hotel at 1:40.
After our Catamaran ride at about 1 pm we were told that the next shuttle back was not until 2:30 pm.
We spent the next hour trying to figure out where the shuttle was that brought us there but there were also multiple other groups trying to leave. Some groups were paying significant amounts of $ to get back tot heir resorts.
Our ride was ready at 2:30 but we were not able to enjoy the beach club since we were stressed about our uncertain transportation

Well organized charter. Excellent transportation to and from Playa. Nice Boat...great crew. The bar was open as soon as we set off to our first snorkle. Sadly the amount of time boating is minimal (we only went a few hundred yards), and the two snorkeling spots were rather poor due to the condition of the "reef" and the lack of fish...but we didn't have high hopes for great snorkeling so we were happy to just be in the water...and we saw a small turtle...always a special sighting.
The real surprise was the awesome beach. Food at their restaurant is not great, but the beach is amazing. We actually delayed our return trip back to Playa to stay a couple more hours on their amazing beach (at their beach clud which is included).
So, overall, the value for money is not great...but its okay. The experience is okay (we"ve done a lot of these kind of day trips), the drinks are good, the snorkeling not so, but did I tell you how great all the staff is and how super great the beach is!

THEY HOLD YOU IN THE RESORT SO YOU SPEND MONEY. We booked a snorkeling excursion that was supposed to get us back to our hotel by 1:40 p.m. at the latest. Even confirmed by a woman named Angelica there. We arrived by private transportation and expected the same service to return us but that was not the case. We had a party of SIXTEEN people and booked a private catamaran. The current was a yellow that day so we ended up getting back to shore about 12:40. The club then stated that we had to wait until 2:30 to be transported back although that was not what was communicated when booking. We either had to pay $75/person to leave immediately or wait until the 2:30 shuttle. All in an attempt to make us spend more money. This is a shady upsell technique that is not appreciated by guests. I would suggest being open about only having the 2:30 or 4:30 shuttle so that parties can plan accordingly. Your club can avoid a lot of negative reviews simply by being transparent on that and not making it feel like a sleazy upsell.

We had an amazing half day excursion on the Tres Capitanes with Claudio, Damian, Armando, and Apolo. These gentlemen conducted one heck of a tour for us. We had children ranging in ages from age 2 up to age 16. There are total of three families and we fit comfortably on the boat with 15 people total. They provided us with plenty of beverages and some Spanish lessons on the way out to the snorkeling sites. While snorkeling, it was extremely organized, and Claudio led us to some amazing creatures. We saw turtles, barracuda, stingray, an eel, and lots of fish. They made sure that we were safe and accounted for at all times. By far, it was a highlight of our trip, and we cannot wait to do it again! Gracias amigos!

We did a half day snorkeling tour with Maroma Adventures. The whole crew, headed by Claudio, was fantastic! 10 of 10 stars!

Very nice experience. Beautiful location, very quiet. Nice group and clear communication by crew. Tasty drinks and beautiful sea life seen while snorkeling. The information about the return journey was slightly less clear. We will definitely come back!
