This tour takes you to the famous Stingray City sandbar, where the wild stingrays swim around you in shallow water. The crew will show you how to safely feed these stingrays if you like, and the on-board photographer will take memorable photos of you and your family and friends, available for purchase. The snorkeling stop will either be at the Barrier Reef or the Coral Gardens. Because of differences in ship time zones, some of these tours may not be available during daylight saving time in the United States.

This was our second trip with Capt. Marvin's; we visited Stingray City in March of 2020, just before the COVID shutdown, and when we finally made it back to Grand Cayman (four years later!) we knew there was only one company we would choose for tour. Everything is so well taken care of, from the pickup at our condo to safety instructions on the boat. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the stingrays and other local wildlife, and they do a fantastic job of running everything smoothly and safely while also keeping everything really fun. On this trip, Jordan, Michael, and Burger were outstanding--they are friendly and professional, but always made sure we as the passengers were safe, but also looked out for the welfare of the stingrays as well. I would recommend Capt. Marvin's to anyone looking to experience the unique experience of Stingray City or any other Cayman water adventure.

Great experience as described on Trip Advisor. What sets Captain Marvin's apart is the staff... incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, safe and makes sure each and every guest has an enjoyable experience catered to their level of comfortability. Thank you to Jordan and Michael who hosted a great adventure. Will recommend to others and will be back on our next visit to GC. Great excursion for cruise guests. Easy access to/ from cruise pier.

Had a friend visit from another island and of course as a local had to let them experience our beautiful coral reefs and our famous stingray city! The experience for them was like non other but what really made our experience a most joyous was booking our trip with Captain Marvin, the pioneer of all things water sports and man himself who help created stingray city! The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable, their boats are equipment are so well maintained. Booking with Captain Marvin you honestly get more valve for your money plus get to meet people.

Great trip! We booked this excursion from a roadside booth in Georgetown. Wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of staff and quality of equipment. Michael and Jordan were very friendly and helpful, the boat was clean, powerful and comfortable and they didn’t stuff the boat with too many tourists. I will gladly book with them again.

My husband and I were on the Disney Fantasy that stopped in Grand Cayman on 2/13/24. So of course we had to book a tour with Captain Marvin’s!! We are
repeat customers and it was just as wonderful as in the past. Check in was easy and our driver Linton was excellent. We were on the “High Rider” which was spacious, comfortable and clean. Loved the ride out to the sandbar. Once at the sandbar our stingray experience was top notch. Everything was explained to us in detail and our guides were so knowledgeable and patient with our group. We had amply time in the water with the stingrays and then it was time to go to our next stop, which was a snorkel. Fantastic snorkel opportunity with lots of colorful fish and even more stingrays. The water was so beautiful and it was a fun time all around. Highly recommend Captain Marvin’s!! We took the 1:45 tour and our driver dropped us off at the tendering dock so we could go right back to the ship. 🚢 Overall it was the perfect day and the photos our photographer took were AMAZING!!! A++++++.

Wow! A once-in-a-lifetime experience that even the locals do often! (I was talking to a local in a souvenir shop and she said that she has gone "so many times" because it's such a special experience. If the locals are going repeatedly, you know it has to be good.)
The whole experience was amazing, even the shuttle drive to the boat was entertaining. Our captain Richard was so funny and provided entertainment throughout the whole boat ride. The rest of the crew was super friendly and ensured we had a great time. Thank you, Richard, George, Kevin, Joci, and of course Rebekka. (She's the stingray, and seemed very excited to be a part of our picture)

We didn't go. The trip got canceled. Why? Because the other guests were coming from a cruise 🛳 ship but the ship got canceled. Consequently I received a call 📞 that is was canceled 😞

We did the 7:45 am tour to Stingray City and Starfish Point. It was amazing! Our crew was fantastic and we were the ONLY boat at Stingray City after a few minutes. Definitely a better experience when it is less crowded! Such a unique and fun experience.

We have been to Stingray sandbar about 7 times before this trip. This trip was great. Don't know if I'm spelling this right but Ceger, Seeger, George and Joyce were great tour leaders. Helpful, cordial and know their jobs well. It was a windy day but was not awful. The motor over to the sandbar was smooth as could be for a breezy day. Learned a few new things from these leaders that I didn't know in years past. Like the correct way to feed the rays. We did a little side trip to spot some wild Green Sea Turtles which was cool. We saw probably 6-8 different turtles. Would highly recommend Ceger and the Anna for anyone's trip to Stingray Sandbar.

Captain Marvin’s did an excellent job in taking are of us this day. We came in from a cruise ship and had to dock at the secondary location. My confirmation said a driver would be there to get me but I wasn’t sure if that meant when it was tour time or earlier. We got off the ship earlier thinking if they weren’t there we’d just take a taxi into town, but a driver was there waiting for us! They took us to their shop right by the beach so we had time to hang out there before the tour.
They were very attentive to everyone on the trip as it was a bit choppy out there and helped us to get in and out of the boat so we could see the rays. They also made sure to let us know how we were doing time wise and made sure to get us back to our ship with plenty of time. We did the stingray 1 stop snorkel trip and they did an excellent job on this smaller group tour. I’d highly recommend them!
