We had a wonderful time doing the north Kyoto cycle tour. Our tour guide was Idra, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was also very accommodating to all the people in the tour group. The tour group was not too big, so it made the experience more personal. Overall, the ride was easy. The lunch was tasty. We had a great time and will book again!

My family and I took this bike tour with Indra and we absolutely loved it. A highlight of our trip to Kyoto. My husband and I aren’t super fit so upgraded to e-bikes but our ten year old son rode the full day (six hour tour) and loved it. We loved seeing some of the less visited sites, touring back lanes and streets and seeing how life ticks along for the average citizen. We had a beautiful lunch at a delightful little restaurant and Indra was a fabulous guide. Highly recommend this tour !!!

Indra provided great story telling to explain the history and differences of Buddhism vs Shintoism, the origins or Japanese culture and how Geishas came to be and what they do. His bicycle guiding was top notch and ensured the safety and well being of everyone in our group. A day well worth investing in to get an excellent orientation to Kyoto and Japanese culture in general.

We had a great time visiting multiple shrines in Kyoto. Our guide was knowledgeable in the areas he brought us and the biking was easy to moderate for someone who does not use a bike very often. Overall, great experience.

This tour was given to us by Paul, who was very clear all through the visit, never rushed the group and clarify all our questions. This was our first visit to Japan and started right there in Kyoto.
Highly recommend this experience!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our biking tour in Kyoto, which was one of the highlights of our trip. My husband and I were fortunate to have a private 6-hour tour with Paul, who was an exceptional guide. The bikes were well-maintained, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of having two bottles of water each.

Paul's extensive knowledge, engaging storytelling, and infectious enthusiasm kept us captivated throughout the tour. We made a delightful stop at a local noodle shop famous for its 400-year-old recipe and explored the city's stunning temples and shrines, gaining valuable insights into their history and significance.

Paul's warm and humorous demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable. He expertly paced the tour to cater to our interests and curiosity, ensuring a truly immersive experience. Cycling through Kyoto's picturesque alleys and narrow streets was a treat, offering an authentic glimpse into local life.

We wholeheartedly recommend this tour, as we wouldn't have been able to discover these hidden gems on our own. Thank you, Paul, for an unforgettable adventure!
