We had a wonderful day with Mauricio - he was friendly, knowledgable and tailored the day accordingly based on things we’d already seen in Valparaiso to make sure we saw new sights in the city. The vineyards we visited were super, with great guides who spoke wonderful English. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for anyone visiting the area!

And for lunch, he made a reservation at a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful view.

A really good balance between the lovely city of Valparaiso and some excellent wine tasting. Mauricio was a fantastic guide - friendly and keen to share his love for Chile. The lunch was also magnificent. Highly recommended.

It was a great way to spend last day in Santiago. Our guide, Mauricio, knew a lot and shared so much with us. The vineyards were lovely, and the highlight was guided walking tour in Valparaiso. The art was amazing and it was a brilliant day!

We went in August of 2023 and had the best time! This was our favorite day in Chile and it was all because of how amazing our guide Mauricio was! It was just myself and my friend on the tour and he made it absolutely outstanding for us both and was so informative! We started out the day with 2 different winery tours in Casablanca Valley. We drove through Del Mar and did a walking tour of Valparaiso. He recommended us a fabulous lunch right on the water! We recommend this tour for anyone who wants to have the best day in Chile!!

Amazing tour! Great day spent exploring Viña Del Mar and Valparaiso. Our tour guide, Mauricio, was very informative and made sure we were comfortable our entire day. He also was great about stopping at the best places for photos. Both wineries we visited (Veramonte and Bodega) were fun and very different from one another which made for a wonderful experience. Worth every penny!

This tour far was awesome. Mauricio was a great tour guide and knew so much about the city. We started off with a tour to Bodgas RE for some wine tasting, then headed to Valparaiso for a walking tour of the city. So beautiful and full of art. Stopped for a lunch at a recommended restaurant by Mauricio. It was yummy. Then headed to the last winery where we had a whole bottle of sparking wine to ourselves. Overall, the tour was great but what made it phenomenal was the interesting facts and tidbits Mauricio would mention as we went throughout the day.

We had the perfect host for a lovely day exploring Valparaíso and some wineries. Mauricio has a wealth of knowledge about the region and all-around Chilean history - so soak it up! He promptly picked us up at our hotel per communication the night before on WhatsApp and selected a lovely winery as a first stop (3 different wine tastings plus a cheese, oil, bread, etc. board to share). Then we went off to all the beautiful spots in Valparaiso, which we would never have been able to do on our own with the insanity of their steep, narrow roads and difficulty parking. Received a delicious lunch recommendation. We finally stopped at a second winery (one bottle to share - this winery specializes in sparking wine) before returning to Santiago. We never felt rushed, even when an extra wine tasting was purchased by another individual joining our table tasting or we could not decide on an art piece. Highly recommend to see the best of a lovely coastal City and the Casablanca wine region!

During our recent trip to Chile, we used services of Central Valley Tours for private sightseeing tour of Santiago and Valparaiso. Mauricio and his associate Francisco were excellent. We had great time touring with them. Mauricio is very prompt in responding to any email inquiries I made about our trip. He also eased my worries about recent turmoil in Santiago.
I would highly recommend this company without any reservation.
