In this tour you will be able to admire the great pyramid of Quetzalcoatl in the early morning, a great moment to take the best pictures with the less people possible.

Walk among the road of the dead, that is the main avenue of the archaeological zone. Our highly experimented and kind guides will explain by detail all the things to know about this ancient site. Later, we will visit the handcraft market (souvenirs not included) and try ancestral beverages fresh made.

Fun, almost private tour. Just another couple and our family of 4 with the tour. You can’t climb the big pyramids anymore (Sun and Moon), that was a bummer. The rest was all great.

The tour was amazing and we had excellent English speaking guide Rafael and sites were awesome.-
We were picked up from our hotel then taken to the Aztec site in-the centre of Mexico City and then to Teotihuacán pyramids. We climbed part of the Pyramid of the Sun without crowds of tourists. Then we went to a really good tequila tasting and tasted lots of varieties. Then back to look at the Pyramid of the Moon and a walk down the avenue of the Dead. This was followed by an option for lunch at a very nice authentic Mexican restaurant. The cost was reasonable and the food was very nice . Then we were driven back our hotel in the early afternoon.

We have as tour guide Mr. Rafael. and as driver Mr. Daniel Hernandez. Mr. Rafael he is super knowledgeable and provide great tips and information. And Mr. Daniel, he was super nice and drove properly (in Mexico City this can be challenging). Totally recommended.

Our guide, Alan (Fernando) was multilingual, friendly and very knowledgeable about Mexico City, its environs and history, as well as Teotihuacan and the Aztecs. Beyond touring the pyramids, the trip included a stop to learn about the many uses of the agave plant, including a tasting of various drinks derived from it, ie. Mescal. There was time for a bit of shopping and a stop for a nice lunch as well. Definitely a good idea to book an early trip since it gets hot as the day progresses.

Tour Guide was awesome. He explained everything very well and never rushed us. We were only six people which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Seeing the Sun and Moon pyramids although I found the amount of walking too much and the climbing over a smaller pyramid was a bit steep.

This is just a review of the tour, not the site. The pyramids themselves are EPIC and a must-see for everyone visiting Mexico City.

Our tour guide Ynez was laughably bad. I would expect someone who guides for a living to have at least a Wikipedia page level of knowledge about the location they are providing guide services for. However, we learned surprisingly little during the few hours she talked at us. It was a bizarre experience, she new less and conveyed less info than the small placards at the site! Reading the Wikipedia page on the pyramids after the tour I was shocked by how little information she conveyed to us.

Maybe she knew more than she let on and maybe she just didn’t care. I know she couldn’t care less about the individuals in the group- she only gave her name 2.5 hours into the tour and never even asked our names and completely ignored everyone in the van until the door slid open at the pyramids and even then it’s like she just turned on an outdated and uninformed tape recorder of the tour. We were fungible tourist units to her. And it’s not like she was having a bad day (which we all have) she was laughing it up and chatting away with the driver and folks she knew at the pyramid. Which is fine, but please at least have good information to share about the site!

The funny thing is that Ynez will have zero idea who wrote this review since she doesn’t know anyone’s name from the group and everyone had a similar experience. No one even considered giving her a tip at the end of the tour and everyone scooted out of that van and away from the guide as quickly as the could except the young American who tipped her out of some misguided sense of obligation (later taking with him he had similar thoughts on the tour).

So all in all see the pyramids but if you go with this tour guide and company get ready for a mind-numbingly uninformative and dis-connective experience.

This was a great tour! Rafael was a knowledgeable and friendly guide, and we had several stops to see different parts of the ruins with some historical context.

The early morning pickup was a little tough (time change was against us), but worth it - we could see the hot air balloons over the pyramids when we arrived, and it only got hotter and more crowded from there.

Had a wonderful time learning about the history of Teotihacan people and pyramids. I really enjoyed my guide and thought he was knowledgeable and well practiced.
