Explore Glacier National Park's Wild and Scenic border river, the Middle Fork Flathead, with our highly trained, friendly, interpretive river guides. First, float a relaxing stretch of river. Next, your guide selects a secluded spot for a delicious, buffet style lunch. Our kitchen sources locally and organically whenever possible, and you’ll taste the difference!
After lunch, explore 9 named rapids - typically rated class II and III. Bonecrusher is always a favorite! This is a fun and splashy adventure through pristine, glacially fed waters. Finally, float beneath Glacier’s historic Old Belton Bridge. Your adventure ends in West Glacier with a 5 minute bus ride back to our campus.
Trips depart rain or shine. Trips meet at 9:15am, 9:45am departure. No experience necessary.
No maximum weight - must be able to buckle a 58" chest life jacket. Minimum age 5, minimum weight of 50 pounds. Minimums may be higher if river levels are higher, as they often are in the spring.

Our rafting guide - Reznor- was excellent. He pointed out landmarks like the old railroad tunnel lost in the Great Montana flood of 1964, ensured we hit the rapids right, and overall provided superb service. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Glacier.

Our rafting trip with Reznor was amazing! The views were incredible. He was very knowledgeable about points of interest along the way. We had rafters that were looking for an exciting ride and Reznor did not disappoint. He made sure we hit everything we could!
Scheduling was extremely easy and flexible. We had to adjust our trip by a day and there was no issue at all. They were nice and accommodating about the change.
We will book with Glacier Guides and Montana Raft on our next visit!

We had the most amazing day on the river. It was a perfect way to see parts of Glacier that you can’t see any other way. Our guide Sidney was so fun and knowledgeable about the river, the natural habitat and the history of Glacier. Lunch was fantastic and more than we expected. We saw 2 bald eagles and a doe and her fawn while rafting. I would highly recommend the full day trip with Glacier Guides.

The full day rafting trip was a great experience. Mia, our guide on the trip was awesome. The lunch provided was delicious. Don’t hesitate if you enjoy beautiful scenery and getting wet on the rapids!

It was so fun and Evan our guide was super fun and informative! We had a great time and it was an awesome first rafting experience for me. It was a little shorter than i expected, we started around 10:30 and finished around 12:30 but it was still great!

My son and I just returned from an overnight rafting trip. It was fantastic. Our guides Mia, Pep, and Adam were absolutely tremendous! Knowledgeable, safety minded, entertaining and enthusiastic. My son has severe food allergies and the team went above and beyond to ensure all the delicious food served was safe. As a parent with a kid with food allergies I can’t express just how just how grateful i am for the team making him feel comfortable with the food we had. Fabulous trip and great memories!!!

All of the staff were super nice and friendly! One of the guides name was Ryder and the other one I can’t quite remember but he had long blonde hair with a blonde mustache! We were scared it was going to be too cold, but they give so many options to keep warm like gloves, wet suits, jackets and beanies so we were fine. Really beautiful out on the water and they make sure to keep you safe with a lot of safety information. I never felt like I wasn’t safe with them! Would definitely recommend doing it if you can! (I added a picture of our guide, he is the one in sunglasses)

Amazing time! It was my first time white water rafting and I had a blast! I honestly thought I was the only crazy one to do it. It was a little chilly out but with all the gear you wear it wasn't to bad. We had Sydney for our guide. She was awesome!! Our group learned a bunch of interesting facts along the way. We also had Ryder as our safety boat, he was great. Can't wait to come back again!
