Most of the museums in MXCD don’t have a line and you can pay when you arrive. This is not one of them. This museum is fairly small, being a residential home. Purchase ahead. I did not realize this and ubered to the location to find they are all sold out for the next couple days. I was quite upset because i was looking forward to this. I got on Viator and there were 2 available for 1330. I purchased at 1100 and was relieved. However I didn’t get a confirmation text and at 1130 I reached out to Viator. I used customer service to get the number to call the company that posted the tickets. They told me that they are actually no longer available because they were opened up when two people didn’t show up for their tour but they showed up late and therefore would need their tickets. I was a little sad. He was very kind, offered a clear explanation, and was apologetic. He told me that he does have 1 ticket for 1315 available. My partner let me go while he got a cervesa near by. This was a lovely experience and I’m thankful for the customer service responsiveness that allowed me to get a last minute ticket.

It was crucial to have an online ticket to visit the museum. We enjoyed the story of Fridas life which was described very understadable even for my young niece of 19 years, who did not know much about her bevor.

The museum was well worth the time to go through. However, when we got there, With at 2 o’clock Reservations, we were told that our tickets were not valid at 2 o’clock. The lady at the museum was very nice went on their Internet and was able to move our tickets to 215. Anybody booking tickets to the tour should be aware that the tickets may not be valid.

We did an excellent tour with Tony.
Great pace, relaxed, fantastic knowledge of the area.
Food stops were nicely spaced out. Tony made everyone comfortable and all had a great time.

A really nice place to visit with some excellent works of art and a wonderful cool and breezy garden with a cafe/bar. It was quite a struggle finding independent tickets (ie. without having to do it as part of a full day tour) but well worth the search.

We didn’t realize that it was going to be so difficult to get tickets to the Frieda Kahlo museum, and we were able to book tickets the day before!!! The museum is so interesting and the setting is beautiful and peaceful! It was worth having to pay a bit more!!!

We were so happy to find last minute tickets to the museum, since it's usually sold out a week in advance! David sent me the tickets quickly and we had a great time.
