Very fun to see all the parties on the canals and get to know the interesting area. It was Holy Week, so lots of locals were on vacation and obviously having a great time.

Frank was a great guide! The Xochimilco experience would have been daunting without him and he made sure every step went smoothly. The reviews of Xochimilco are all over the place but we found it very enjoyable and not at all as touristy as some claimed. It’s fun to be surrounded by so many celebrations and the many opportunities for a spur-of-the moment experience with food or having mariachis come aboard. We would do it again for sure! And the walk through Couoacán was very interesting to see so many colonial buildings still in use!

This was a brilliant, worthwhile tour. We got to see the canals as well as lots of hidden parts of a district we would not otherwise have seen, all without any hassle as we had an excellent guide with his own transport.

We were very impressed with the enthusiasm and vast knowledge of our guide Gerardo, and learned and experienced a lot on this excursion to Xochimilco and Coyoacan. We were taken aback though by one man who sat with us in the boat during the whole Xochimilco outing, and revealed his true motives at the end, when he opened a briefcase full of jewelry and prevailed on us to buy something. Hence only four stars.

Great guide. Really friendly and a wealth of knowledge and information. If you're looking to get a bit of a sense for the culture and history of the area I strongly recommend this tour.

This is by far one of the best tours we have done. Our guide spoke amazing english, had a great sense of humour, and was incredibly knowledgeable about the areas we went to.
We’ve done tours like this in the past in other countries where we’ve been taken to places and felt pressured to buy things, never once did this happen on this tour. We were asked if we wanted to go somewhere in particular for lunch, we were happy to take our guides recommendation and it was amazing food. He even pointed out some places nearby where we’re staying so we will probably try them out too!
We loved every minute of it, can’t recommend this tour enough :)

This was a fantastic day. Very relaxing on the boat - Xochimilco. Amazing how they manage to move these boats , especially when it’s almost gridlock at points. Eric our guide was also great , went out of his way to show us the best of Mexican food in Coyoacán. Gave us lots of information. Let us walk around by ourselves when we wanted to. Can’t recommend Eric enough.

Our original guide had an illness in the family and we were assigned another. He was very knowledgeable and tired to tailor the trip to our needs. He was a very good conversationalist in the car and was frank and engaging in conversation

Hector was an incredible tour guide! We ended up spending most of the day with him and it was one of the best days of our trip. His knowledge of Mexican history and current culture made the experience that much more interesting.
The 9 am pickup was great because it allowed us to beat the crowds at Xochimilco and have a quiet morning on the canals (note: this is what we wanted but some people may be looking for a more boisterous experience).
The mural visit was a nice touch! We felt like we spent just the right amount of time there.
We had delicious lunch (tacos/quesadillas/mole) at the market in Coyoacán and churros to follow — all very yummy! Hector was very generous with his time and we ended up spending an extra hour in the main square discussing many fascinating topics.

This tour was absolutely fantastic! Our tour guide, Frank, was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and was totally accommodating to our plans for the day – great suggestions were offered all day. This was a great tour and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting CDMX!
