Do not miss this opportunity to visit a piece of the UK in southern Spain on this day trip from Seville to Gibraltar. The territory of Gibraltar reaches only 6.8 km2 out into the Strait of Gibraltar. This peninsula is home to the rock of gibraltar which is not only a spectacular natural marval but also holds a large amount of history. Having been fought over for centuries witness first hand the collision of cultures embedded in the rock. Also, see the very friendly macaques (monkeys). Take a day to experience this amazing place and make sure to look out into the strait, you might be able to see Africa!

Excellent day tour of Gibraltar from Seville!

The tour company, Naturanda, confirmed the tour communicated pick-up location and time a couple days prior and again the night before. Communication was excellent.

We were a large group - approximately 30-40 individuals. We met at Hotel Don Paco for pick-up at 8:10am. We departed on time, making a stop for drinks, food and the toilet about 3/4 of the way through the journey. We arrived at the border at around 11am, left the bus in Spain, crossed through on foot, and eventually made our way to the main square by noon also on foot.

From there, we were given two hours of free time, prior to the tour of the rock. You can do as you please during these two hours - eat lunch, walk around, visit the castle etc. Perhaps it was a bit too much time. I would have preferred an hour of free time and a longer tour, but I found ways to fill my time.

At 2pm, we gathered again in the main square where we would walk to meet the buses that would take us up to and around the rock. The tour was approximately two hours and we made 3 stops - one at the lighthouse, one at the caves (where the monkeys are), and the last stop at a scenic viewpoint!

After the tour, we were dropped off at the airfield, which is close to the border, and crossed the border again. We met the bus on the other side at about 4:30pm, and began the drive back to Seville. We arrived back in Seville at the pick-up point at approximately 7pm.

The tour guide was terrific! She was very enthusiastic and had a lot of energy! She was informative and very helpful to answer any questions. She was clearly very passionate about her job. Her communication was great, as well as her ability to keep track of a large group!

I enjoyed Gibraltar - there wasn't a ton to do there in terms of sightseeing (other than eating, shopping and visiting some of the churches and remnants of the bastions and castles), but I certainly enjoyed the scenic views!

I had a great tour overall. It was good value for a full day tour (8am - 7pm)! It was a very convenient and easy way to visit Gibraltar from Seville and I'm glad I joined!

The pound is the currency there. You can spend your Euro in Gibraltar, but you won't get a very good rate. Best just to use your credit card for small purchases if you're there on a day tour!

The history and being able to see the Mediterranean, Africa, and Atlantic at the same time. The monkeys were nice as well.

The St. Michael's Caves were amazing . Had fish and chips at Roy's Fish and Chips. Very good, but I think I'd have preferred going to an Irish or British pub since I only had limited time there. Didn't get to the top, not enough time to take the cable car up. Didn't see the seige tunnels.

The trip was well organised, I liked that we go on a tour of the rock by a small bus, with a local guide, native in Gibraltar, who gave us interesting information. Many thanks to Alberto, the Naturanda guide, a great guy, who knows a lot of information and take good care of us!

A great experience! Alberto, our guide, took the time to explain the history of the region and the time line of the various groups who took it over.
Gibraltar was very interesting and had always intrigued me - so we were happy for the opportunity to go.
The caves with the light show were beautiful.
The tour group itself was very professional and helpful. We went with Naturanda and used them again for Granada. I highly recommend them!

Our trip to the Rock of Gibraltar today was truly worth it! Taking a day trip from Seville lasting nearly 2.5 hours, we were delighted by the wonderful experience led by our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Alberto. A trip can be greatly impacted by the guide's approachability, and Alberto excelled in this aspect. He guided us through all the main points, providing clear explanations and setting expectations for the day before we even arrived in Gibraltar. Once in Gibraltar, we took a separate bus ride as we had travelled from Seville.

Much too expensive for the service!
The guide was great, very interesting explanations.
But the visit to the cave is done at a run, just like the meeting with the monkeys.
On the way back, a stop in a typical village in the region would have been nice, as other organizations do.

We enjoyed our day trip to Gibraltar from Jerez and thought our guide , Carlos, did a great job. He was a little late for the pick up but I was able to call and confirm he was on the way. Carlos explained some of the things we saw as we drove through the countryside and an introduction to Gibraltar. He helped us through passport control and oriented the group to town. The local guide escorted us to all the main sights providing great commentary. Carlos had recommendations for places to have lunch. We were glad we chose this activity, rather than doing it on our own.
