This was an excellent food tour. Our guide Svetlana was amazing. We lucked out as others who were booked changed dates and we ended up with a personal tour for the 4 of us. She provided so much info and the food was perfect. It represented the locals and small businesses perfectly. Definitely recommend this tour and hope you get to to meet Svetlana.

The ethnic food we had at the markets we visited was very good and represented them well. So much to see at the Chelsey Market that we plan to return. We took this tour on a beautiful Sunday afternoon with our excellent tour guide, Chris. We started with Chelsea Market, learning the history of this beautiful building and then enjoying a variety of samples from some of the shops. We then crossed over to Pier 57, more food, and remarkable views.
Then up to the High Line we went. Wonderful walk through the flowers, art and architecture! The tour ended at Hudson Yards. We will have to explore that some time later!
Our guide, Chris, was excellent. Not only did he know everything there was to know, he was also very personable and just right for us.
We would definitely this tour for learning more about this part of New York...and of course for the food and fun!
As it happened, only 3 of us took this tour so it felt highly personalized to us!

Fabulous tour and worth every penny! Morgan was knowledgeable about the history of New York and even the local buildings. He could integrate how the history of the area was connected to the food. Lots of tasty, multicultural experiences. Finally got to check the High Line off my bucket list. It didn’t disappoint. You really get a feel for a place when you can taste it and walk it!

This was a great introduction to some of the interesting places in the area. We especially enjoyed learning about the High Line. All the food was interesting without being too weird for my husband to try it. It was nice to just get a bunch of little tastes instead of having to purchase full dishes. Our guide even gave some recommendations of other places we could visit based on our interests. We would highly recommend doing a Like A Local Tour!
