This was a nice introduction to Hong Kong food and culture. Since I don't eat red meat, I did find the selections limiting. (I knew this would be an issue going in.) Also, even though it was a small group tour (10 + guide), it was sometimes hard to find space for us. If I did a food tour again, I would book something private or less than 6 people. NOTE: for most of the tour there are NO BEVERAGES offered. We did get hot water in one location. Bring your own bottled water or soda (or plan to buy at convenience stores, if times allow).

Our guide brought us to restaurants frequented by locals. The food was really delicious beef noodles and goose over rice. She even told us stories about the way locals lived. We visited a temple and a wet market. It was like a field trip for the kids, guide was so knowledgeable. She spoke excellent english. Overall we were very satisfied.

This food tour is a must ! Siu Wai is an incredible host. She was gracious, knowledgeable, and took us to some incredible spots. If you take a trip to Hong Kong, you will get an incredible taste of Hong Kong food and culture with Siu Wai.

The food was delicious and it was a great chance to see Hong Kong outside of tourist sites. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to see a more local and unique side of the city!

Sandy was amazing. She was really friendly and very organised. She met everyone on time and finding her at the meeting point was very easy. The food stops were all really delicious. Sandy had lots of knowledge about Hong Kong culture, customs, history, and people.
She knew lots of the locals, and taught us about the food they were serving. I really loved this tour, and think it is a great way to experience Hong Kong.

We can highly recommend this food tour with Sandy. She took us to local places to try local dishes, many of which we wouldn’t have tried on our own. Chatting with her, we learned so much more about the lives of locals in Hong Kong. This is definitely the tour to take if you love food and want to find out more about life in Hong Kong.

An awesome experience today with our guide Sandy. We got to try a lot of different and amazing local food, and we learned a lot about Hong Kong at the same time. I would highly recommend the tour. I feel like my time today was very well spent and I got the opportunity to get to know the city and the culture in a way I couldn’t have done if I’d toured around on my own.
