We've done big bus tours in France and Italy, but this was the first with a live guide. It made all the difference! Our guide, Ross, was hilarious, knowledgeable and engaging- we had a blast! (and learned a lot). We stayed on the bus just to listen to him longer! Highly recommend!

Overall great opportunity to learn your way around Dublin. Easy on and off locations throughout the city. Toward the end of the day it seemed there weren’t as many buses running and the wait time was longer between stops. Overall I would recommend this excursion. One other point of concern. They need to post an address for the number one start location.

I took (almost) the full tour three times, twice with live guides and once with the recordings. I've been on a few hop on hop offs during my travels but this was by far the best in terms of experience on board, the stories and music, and just lots of support from their team around the city. Great work y'all!

We decided to do the tour in the morning and as soon as we got on the bus we were very impressed with our driver/guide Dave. He was very knowledgeable and put the information across in a very happy and friendly tone which kept you interested.
Would definitely do it again and buses were clean and tidy.

We brought the Dublin Go City pass and made the most of the hop on and off Big Bus over 2 days (special offer in May).
We have several different drivers over two days and all were great and knowledgeable, special shout outs to Dave and Jerry who drove 2 of the buses we were on...both polite and humorous.
We also took the Costal tour where the bus was driven by Dom, he watched the weather closely and adopted the trip to to and make sure when we got to take photos up the cliff we all stayed dry.
Would definitely book with Big Bus again when we come back.

The bus was nice but I did not realize ahead of time it only ran 9-5. This was probably my oversight, but by the time we got up with time change and had lunch, the day to ride the bus was almost over. We were only able to ride about half the route before they shut down for the day. I was confused by the mention that this was a 24 hour pass. Maybe, but the bus only runs for 8.

Thank you Jimmy for a memorable and informative tour. My wife purchased a 48hr ticket yesterday and took the tour while I was at work. Today, not only did you recognise her and greeted her with a smile, you asked me how work was!
Great balance of information, humour and skilful driving on Dublin’s busy roads. Take the tour, listen to the driver’s hints for places to explore along the route, we were not disappointed.

Ross was an absolutely amazing guide and made us feel like we were with a friend explaining his hometown to us. He even recommended a number of spots for further exploration which we took him up on and enhanced our trip.
