I booked 2 tickets for a river trip. My friend ended up being sick on the day, and I could not get a lift to the office on time. I tried to work out a refund with the rafting company, and their response required Viator to be involved. The result, a family in fact paid extra at the office to exclude me from their trip, I waited at the rafting office for an hour and decided to leave. I contacted Viator to apply for a refund and "unfortunately" nothing could be done. I recommend Ubud Rafting and booking with any other travel company.

From start to finish the whole experience was 10/10. We are driven a short distance from the rafting shop to the starting point of the river. After a 15 minute walk down stairs we arrive at the location. A quick introduction and we are off for an amazing rafting experience along the ayung river that was without a doubt the best thing I’ve ever done.

The water rafting was amazing and was 2 hours long with a snack/drink break halfway. Then we did the Ubud tour, and our tour guide, Okta, was awesome! He catered to whatever we wanted to do, and he was sooooo sweet! Just a warning, to get to the river, you have to go down 200 steps, and climb back up!

Had a wonderful time! Small rapids not scary at all. Water not cold. Guide was excellent at steering the raft.
Only thing to know is it’s several hundred stairs down to the river and 250 up at the end.

I did white water rafting followed by a silver making workshop. Rafting was very enjoyable, be it the views, the friendly company of both fellow tourist and operators, and the excitement of the activity.
The silver making workshop is great as well. They explain to you the process of making silver and then you get to pick what you want to make from a range of different accessories. The patient and friendly artisans are infinitely more skillful but at least the imperfections of my craft makes it uniquely my own.
Special mention to Mang Adi, my assigned driver. He arrived almost 30 minutes early for pick up and was very friendly. He helped clear up anything along the way and even made a small detour for some coffee tasting (Luwak coffee available). Definitely made an exciting day that much better.

Our driver Dodik picked us up on time from our accommodation and he was amazing. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic! He had so much cultural knowledge to share and even took us to show his own family compound and family!
The rafting itself was fantastic from start to finish. The ride in the back of the truck to the starting point was certainly an adventure in itself! There were many steep steps to walk down to get to the rafts and may not suit everyone, but once we got down there, the experience was fantastic. The raft guide was very entertaining and made sure we had a great time. The scenery was also beautiful.
It was also cool how we got to stop at a little shop along the way for a drink and snack.
